I have just purchased a new esp5 all-in-one printer on 12-26-08. The quallity is great, but the colors are different from what they look like on my computer and on my camera. They seem to be faded or toned down. I have used the editing to get better results, but I am having trouble getting consistency. Also I have copied some tax papers that had a blue copy stamped on it and the blue came out a lighter shade of blue.
I am wondering if it might be the ink cartridges that came with the printer. I am very satisfied with this printer!!!! I have a picture of an owl and printed it out on a 4x6 and some of my friends said " This is a postcard, you didn't print this" and " you could make some money off this picture ".
Thanks for your support, Jeff

Re: colors are not the same
Driver could be corrupt. Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off.
I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with
the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the
printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud

You may have blocked print head nozzles. Try the printer maintenance to clear the printer nozzles. After several deep cleaning attempts and there is no improvements in the printthen a new print head is required. A new print head maybe expensive and it maybe more cost effective to purchase anew printer.
Hi, I have the same printer and unfortunately you are unable to print at all if one of the cartridges is out of ink. This the reason Kodak inks are cheaper. If i'd know this at the time I would never have purchased the printer. Im in the process of finding the right printer for my needs now. Hope this helped.
YES - you need a new printehad. Very common problemwith KODAK printers. They should send you a new printhead for free - they did me. Their technical support is great (although in India) but they should send you a new one for free.
is there a... what? you didnt provide additional information, and you left the question unfinished. is there a way to remove the paper? is there a solution? yes. the paper can be removed. but i dont have enough information.
