Question about Computers & Internet
My acer aspire 5750 (bought a year ago) randomly decides when to charge... the power button light and the charge light keeps flashing until i take the lead out and put back in several times. and when it does decide to charge it will eventually stop charging and start flashing. any help?
The solution to your problem lies in one of the following three areas:
Your charger is faulty and is therefore not able to pass power to your laptops battery.
The charging connector on the laptop has come loose from the contacts. Therefore a bad connection.
Your battery is faulty.
If you are sure that your laptop charger is dead and you are in the market for a new one, try the following one:
Replacement Acer Aspire 5750 AC Adapter 90Watt 19V 4.74A

Underneath the power button that you see is a small board with a tiny tactile button. These tactile buttons because they get used alot tend to go bad. They will get worn out and then eventually won't work.
Best thing to do is to go to this page courtesy of Acer:
There is a phone number there and they should be able to tell you if your laptop is under warranty. If its not, ask them the name of the board underneath the power button and its part number and you can search for it yourself on the internet to get the best price

SOURCE: Battery Wont Charge
Drain the static on the computer by removing the battery and the power adapter. then press the power button for 1 minute and release. Then plugged the battery back in and turned on the computer, if the computer won't come on plugged the Adapter back to the computer and try turning it on.
If problem persist it is possible that the battery already busted and you need a replacement.
Hope it would help.
