Question about Radio Communications
When using the built in autotuner on my Kenwood ts-450SAT when I push the tuner button it clicks in for a fraction of a second and shows a perfect match on the SWR meter. I can then change the frequency and bypass the autotuner and when I transmit the swr still shows a perfect match. I know the antenna is not resonant at that frequency but the SWR meter still shows a perfect match ratio 1 to 1. The autotuner does not roam around at all on any frequency but just gives a quick click and shows a perfect match everytime. Can anyone tell me what is wrong here and how to fix it? Thanks for any advice on this.
Sorry, I did not realize that this was a fix-it-for-hire place. I thought it was a place for free advice
I will take my problem elsewhere.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
