Hello - Does the unit make a humming noise? If so, either the drainage hose/pump is clogged and needs to be cleaned, or you have another issue with the door lock assembly or the timer and control board not communicating correctly.

SOURCE: Washer did not spin

JERRY,
IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU GOT TAKEN ON THIS WASHER. A NEW WASHER NORMALY WORKS, BUT IN SOME INSTANCES, LIKE YOUR CASE, IT COULD BE THE BELT OR THE MOTOR COUPLING. WHAT I WOULD DO IS CALL THE PLACE WHERE YOU GOT YOUR WASHER FROM AND HAVE THEM TO BRING YOU A NEW REPLACEMENT. THERE HAVE BEEN COMPLAINTS ABOUT WASHING MACHINES NOT WORKING RIGHT WHEN THEY WERE NEW. I HOPE THIS HELPS YOU AND ANYBODY ELSE WHO READS THIS WEBSIT, BECAUSE THERE IS NO SENSE IN THE STORE SELLING A BRAND NEW WASHER WHEN IT ALREADY LEAKS.

SOURCE: why my whirlpool washing machine wont spin model # LXR5432KQ0

If this is a Whirlpool manufactured TOP LOADER washing machine, a no spin problem can have several causes. Most commonly, this is caused by either a lid switch malfunction or a broken motor coupling. The following link explains how you can diagnose the problem and repair it yourself:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3965207-whirlpool_top_loader_no_spin_problem

Read through the link provided and let me know if you have any questions. I have included parts resources and instructions on how to replace each part as well.

The part number for a replacement lid switch is 3949247. The motor coupling part number is 285753A.

If you have questions, please post back and let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

SOURCE: Our Crosley washing machine (Model

Three possibilities here,

One, you've overloaded the washer with clothes, throwing the washer basket on tilt because of the extra weight and force against the agitator. Remove the wet clothes from the washer and try continuing the cycle.

Two, One of the elastic/spring arms that centers the basket inside the washer housing has broken and is allowing the basket to simply flop around. Disassemble the washer and inspect the basket supports.

Three, The center post that the washer basket sits on is going bad - The most common reason is that the bearings have gone bad. Disassemble the washer and replace the bearings at the base of the basket where it connects to the motor.

My Crosley CAW8350EW1 wash machine just stopped after the last spin cycle drained and the spin light keeps flashing. I'm wondering if that would be the timer or something else?

make sure that it didn't stop because of an unbalanced situation
as it is draining it should be turning slowly and as soon as it empties the spin speed picks and and the unbalance stops the machine

Crosley washer model caw9244xq2. Started normally, ended on spin, now it's full of water and won't start. I have to hold the start button for it to turn on, then nothing. Help?!

there is a micro switch in the knob of the machine that not telling the washer machine to empty the water, you need to call a repair person, or buy the part your self and buy a manual and do it yourself.
