Hello friend, thank you for your post!
I understand that you are searching for the location of the motor coupler on your Frigidaire washer, GLTR1670AS0. I was able to locate the parts manual and it does not show a part labeled motor coupler. I have attached the link for you to access the parts manual for further assistance. Vari flo handle not working properly

Hi,

Which model year VariFlo?
  • Some model years do not take a spider gasket as there is spider gasket type bead molded into the diverter/key hub assembly.
  • Spider Gasket, raised bump should face up & gasket should be glued down down to prevent it moving.
  • Spring & nylon washers could also be bad.

Our washing machine (model GLTR1670AS0) is not pumping the water out. After taking off the front lower panel, the pump is making a loud obnoxious sound. I'm assuming the pump is bad. Should I take the...

Use a flashlight and look into the suction port on the pump and see if there is anything clogging it. Check the pump impeller and make sure that no blades are broken or missing and that the impeller will spin freely. If any blades are missing/damaged or if you can't get the impeller to spin freely, the pump is defective. Sorry for your trouble and I hope this helped. Best wishes.

Frigidaire Washer GLTR1670AS0: broken shocks + chipped rear shell

Check the diagram for the part you described as missing a chunk, it might be possible to get it as a replacement part for not much money. I would caution against trying to use any type of "super glue" since it doesn't have the durability to withstand the repeated shock and vibration that this part will experience. If the broken part is item #22 (shell/rear bearing) then the cost for the part is $170.00 - check the diagram to verify what your broken part looks like at the following link:
(copy and paste the entire string, as the hyperlink doesn't always load on the fixya site)

IF I was going to attempt to repair (glue) the part, I'd use something like JB Weld for plastics as it would likley provide better results and I'd try to keep the inside as free as possible of any excess so as not to snap clothes, etc. Good luck to you and hope I've helped.

I have a Kenore Elite 110.45992400 and it is thumping when it spins and the drum feels loose when you try to move it around. I've been reading, I gather this is the tub/bearing assembly? What is the spider...

The drum bearing is located at the back of the drum, and it is held by a drum spider.

This is the drum spider:

The drum spider is attached to drum on one side, and on the other it has the drum bearing.
