Usually you have to use the software on the disk to open your web browser to http://192.168.0.1 or http://192.168.1.1. Then you can enter the administration username and password to change the settings.

As you say that, you are able to go online with the modem, connect your modem- router and laptop witha cable and check if you are able to go online with the router wired first, if yes, then the w/ls settings has to be checked..open your w/ls network connection, remove your preferred wireless network and then try to reconnect again and check.. if you are not able to gon online wired with the router, disconnect power cables from modem- router , wait for 10 sec, and reconnect it , wait till all the lights come up and then reconnect, check if you are able to go online if not your router has to be reconfigured,,
plz check and revert back in case of any issues

Sounds like you need to port forward your router. Go to port forward .com. find your router and follow the instructions. Hope this does the trick for you.

Basically the PS3 wireless settings needs to be configures with the Netgear wireless router settings.
To test if the modem is connects to the Internet, connect a computer into the modem, if it works then the modem is configured correctly. If it doesn't work, then contact your ISP and get them to test your modem connection.
For details on how to configure the PS3 click on the WEB link :-

most routers have, and have no use for the function of providing a connection to the usb modem. try to upgrade the firmware for your router. then find the setting that allows you to detect the usb modem router and then you make an internet connection
thanks and regards
