Question about Epson Stylus Pro 10000CF InkJet Printer
My printer wont start up any more, it instantly shows this error after switching it on. Service manual says: SERVICE REQ. 0001001B: HEAD DRIVER TG TEMPERATURE ERROR Problem: - Head failure or head cable splicing defective or breaking of wire Solution: - Head cable joint - Head Assy exchange Last thing Ive done before that error accured: Cleaned the yellow nozzles of the Y-LM printhead with cleaningfluid and a syringe directly through the input-pipe. This worked fine for some few sheets but then it hung up on this error. Maybe I damaged one of the tiny ribbon headcables i thought. So I bought six new and replaced them all.. But that errormessage wont disappear. What can I do, to get it up running again, where shall I look for what?

I've had the same problem over the years and somewhere along the way came across this simple fix: when you get the "invalid ink cartridge" message turn the printer off, wait 10 seconds, turn it back on, when the screen switches from "please wait" back to "invalid ink cartridge" tap the pause button. this will somehow reset the printer and you should be good to go.
