The speaker neon lights can be wired in directly from the negative and positive speaker wires by simply splicing them. in most casses this also causes the lights to pulsate with the music. in most 12 volt applications the positive and negative wires are generally transferable and do not cause damage when hooked up in reverse
hope it helps

I need to know what I will need when installing Focal 165 A1 6 3/4 speakers in the doors of my 2003 Nissan Altima. (speakers adapter rings ect.?)

When putting in a good set up speakers like those, I always recommend:

Making mounting rings/plated for them
Sound Deadening Material to help seal the door up for better bass from the mids
Gasketing Foam to help decouple surfaces that may vibrate against each other
Duct tape
Good quality speaker wire.

No sound new install

More information would be required to help you with this problem properly. If you are using an amplifier and have no sound from it, you may just have the remote turn on of the amplifier not connected. The radio should have a blue wire coming from it and that would be the wire that goes to the amplifier to turn it on when the radio is turned on. If the radio has no sound coming from the speakers connected directly to the radio, you may have a bad speaker, bad speaker wire, or even have the speakers connected wrong.

If you can please give me more information about the install, like what model radio, what type of amplifier, how you have connected the wiring, how many speakers and what the speakers are connected to (an amp or the radio), I can help you figure out the problem. But please understand, since I am not there to look at your install, I can not know how you have connected everything. Are you using a universal wiring harness to connect to the factory harness and your radio? Have you added extra speakers? What wires have you connected to the speakers? If you have an amplifier, have you connected the RCA output of the radio to the RCA input of the amplifier? There are many things that must be connected properly for a sound system to work, if you are not familiar with how they connect together you really should have a professional do it for you. If you furnish the needed information I will be glad to help you further. If you do not furnish the needed information there is really nothing more I can help you with.

I can't get any radio reception.. Do i need to hook up the power antenna wire on a 2006 ford fusion?

if you have the model with the antenna that extends itself as opposed to the stationary ones, then you might have to. we're having the same problem with my friends neon, but we cant figure out which wire to connect it to.

if you get a wiring diagram for the car, it might come up as "power antenna/amp" or something of the like. with ford, i believe its a white wire, but i could be mistaken.

Ok i am putting in a alpine head unit in a 99 neon i can get it to hold the memroy i have to put the red and yellow wire together and do the same on the wiring bracket and when i put all for together the...

The yellow wire must be connected to a constant voltage source. You have the red and yellow connected to a voltage source that only gets power when the car is turned on. The yellow wire is for the memory. Check the fuse box for a fuse that has voltage on it when the car is off and the key is not even in the ignition. That is the type of connection the yellow wire needs. The red wire can stay connected to the place it is at now.

Are you using a harness that is made for installing a radio into a 99 neon? They sell them at most all places that sell car stereos. Go in and ask for an installation harness for your car and then you connect it to the harness that comes with your radio by matching the colors of the wires and you have a nice and easy install. It plugs right into the factory harness with all the connections you need.
