The speaker neon lights can be wired in directly from the negative and positive speaker wires by simply splicing them. in most casses this also causes the lights to pulsate with the music. in most 12 volt applications the positive and negative wires are generally transferable and do not cause damage when hooked up in reverse
hope it helps

One of the wires from the main speaker got chewed off by my daughters pit rabbit. The speakers are not working due to this and what is the best way to restore functionability to the speakers?

if you can replace the speaker wire would be the best way to repair your sound but if you cant replace the whole speaker wire you might have to replace a section or join the wire together using a soldering iron or a crimper joiner peal at least 2-3mm of the plastic covering the speaker wire separate/spread the wires then intertwine them together to solder them together you must flux the wires before soldering if you use the crimper slide the crimper on to the wire before you intertwine them or you might just join them together intertwine them and place some electrical tape around the join
hope this helps

Samsung Rant ... Speaker is muted & cannot hear a thing AT ALL!! There is absolutely NO SOUND on the speaker (ear speaker & loud speaker). Phone makes calls out & rings for incoming calls but...

For the time being have you tried using a head set? I think this is due to the way the sound wires have been soldered together. I would not attempt to try and fix the problem yourself. If the headset doesn't work I suggest it's the way it's been programmed. Btw have you tried looking at your settings?
It might work if you put it on vibration. Does it work when it's off muted?
Hope I cleared a few things up Dr Reed

Have him check the resistance in the wiring when the vehicle is hot. It sounds like a wire is heating up too much and not letting current flow through it properly.

I can't get any radio reception.. Do i need to hook up the power antenna wire on a 2006 ford fusion?

if you have the model with the antenna that extends itself as opposed to the stationary ones, then you might have to. we're having the same problem with my friends neon, but we cant figure out which wire to connect it to.

if you get a wiring diagram for the car, it might come up as "power antenna/amp" or something of the like. with ford, i believe its a white wire, but i could be mistaken.
