Stereo channels of Xenyx 1202 are very very quiet

It sounds as if the input is too low. what happens if you plug whatever is going into the stereo channels into a pair of mono channels. Or are you taking about the phono stereo tape input?
The stereo channels are line level whereas the other channels have both line and mic level inputs, what are you trying to put through the stereo channels? You must make sure the gain switch is set to the -10dB to get the most sensitivity (the mono channels have about -132dB max sensitivity BTW) You probably need a different mixer or possibly a submixer if you are needing more than 4 low level inputs.

Behringer mixer Eurorack UB802 is losing partial stereo signal in one channel. When I record (audacity software) I can hear both channels but displays one channel. Is it my computer's audio jack t

Sounds like the output cable from the 802 is not correctly pinned to your input on the computer. Fred is on the right track but you may need to take it a bit further.
It may also be helpful to use a Pro USB audio interface such as the Digigram UAX220v2 (line level version).
If you wish to use the computer's on board sound card consider an IHF/Pro interface that converts balanced audio to unbalanced , and the proper cables. Two 3-wire balanced 1/4-inch from the 802 to the left and right inputs of the interface (XLR Male), then RCA (Red and White) to a 1/8-inch TRS Plug cable onto the the computers audio input.
Henry Engineering's Matchbox HD comes to mind.
Good Luck.

I have a peavey 1220 powered mixer and I'm trying to hook up to two sp15's top's and 2 18; peavey subs for my band and I can't get the bass seperated so it's out of my tops

Hi. The mixer puts out a full range mix, the solution is in your speaker setup.

Many subs have a built in crossover that splits the signal for the tops. Check your sub specs or manual. If your subs have this, run your output signal to them first and then link them to the tops from the special daisychain socket.

If they don't have one, you can install a passive crossover to your subs or buy an external crossover unit.

The last (and not very good) option is to fake a crossover with the desk's stereo EQ. Connect the subs to the left or right channel and the tops to the other and use the EQ to remove the bass from the tops and vice versa, pan everything dead center. Obviously this sacrifices your stereo sound and isn't brilliant.

Trying to connect laptop and getting a hissing noise.

You have not told us how you are attempting to connect the laptop. You would likely use a 1/8 stereo to RCA Wye cable to plug into the CD input jacks. You could also have a 1/8 Wye stereo to 1/4 inch jacks and use two of your input channels. The computer and the mixer need to be powered from the same receptacle. The sound boards in laptops sometimes are noisy. If the above doesn't fix it, buy a computer audio interface such as a UA25EX or others. Some are available for about $70 that use a computer USB port and generate decent clean audio.

Cant hook computer to mixer for you tube music

You would need a stereo splitter taking a 1/8 inch stereo plug for the computer into two 1/4 inch jacks to plug into two channels of the mixer OR a 1/8 to 1/4 TRS cable that you go into the Stereo (L) of one of the stereo channels... OR a 1/8 inch splitter to RCA plugs going into the TAPE input jacks of the mixer. You can't really go via the USB cable easily from YouTube,

I Plugged in this cord in one of the channels to play my ipod so i can recored some parts of a song but when i played the songs they werent coming out as they are suppose to sound , it sounded all weird i...

The IPOD generates STEREO signals and you would have to use a 1/8 inch STEREO to 1/4 inch WYE cable into TWO channels of the mixer.
If you use a MONO cable it shorts out one of the sudio amps in the IPOD and will creates distortion.
When you use the two channels to accept the 1/4 inch plugs of the WYE cable, you will set the PAN controls of the two channels you use to opposite ends to maintain the stereo signal in the mixer.

With a stereo splitter cable that takes the stereo 1/8 plug of the computer into two RCA plugs you could go into the "Tape Input" of the mixer... OR take a 1/8 stereo splitter cable from the PC splitting to a pair of 1/4 inch plugs go into one of the 4 stereo input pairs on the mixer... like 7 and 8 or 9 and 10 for example.

How can I connect my mackie mixer 1202-vlz3 to my mac mini

use the xlr (3 prong) main left and right outputs of the board. get xlr to 1/4 inch cables. one end will be 3 prong, to plug into the mixer, then the other end will be a mono 1/4 inch plug, like a big headphone plug. Then you have to get a dual mono 1/4 inch to stereo 1/8 inch adapter and plug it noto the line in. if there is no lone in, but a microphone jack instead, you will get a mono signal instead of a stereo signal. in this case, just use 1 channel of the mixer, instead of both of the stereo outs, and use a single mono 1/4 inch to mono 1/8 inch adapter.

the xlr to 1/4 inch cables can be purchased at a music store. the 1/4 inch to 1/8 inch adapters will probably need to be purchased at radio shack.
