SOURCE: NAD 370

Hi There is no circuit breakers inside. close to front panel on a left side under plastic cover is fuse (AGC type) . Before you change fuse look at four filter capacitors in the middle of unit!!! (close to power transformer on pcb) If they are white do not change the fuse and get unit to good service center( it must be someone who knows what they doing!!!) If the caps are different color (black ,purple) you can try to change fuse. Once again if capacitors are white do not use unit-fire hazard!!!! I'm long time service guy for NAD so trust me on this one Dariusz  dariusz70@verizon.net

NAD 7100. It wont start when you turn it on. It worked just fine yesterday. Does it have a fuse on the inside that needs to be changed?

if you unplug and carefully open the case there are four fuses inside. If one of them has a blown filament take it down to radio shack and match it. Make sure to note (inwriting) which fuse came from where because the amperage varies

Nad c372 problem with left speaker output

Hiya, did you try to swop the inputs as well and see if the problem swops. Try that as the input could also be low. If so try change the cable.

If not there try cleaning out the balance pot with switch cleaner (have to open to that and only you are comfortable).

If thats not there then likely an internal problem and will have to send it in.
Best of luck

No power at all on NAD C370

User manual here

Read page nine for some simple troubleshooting tips and see if that helps.

It *could* be a fuse but given you've owned it for a while and NAD amps often have capacitor issues in the power supply, chances are it needs some serious work by a good tech. Contact NAD directly and see what they recommend.

NAD C541i CD Player won't turn on

Hi John,
Coincidentally enough, I have a customer's C541i on my bench right now!
At this point, you will need to open the cover and check the fuses. With the cover off, looking from the front, all four fuses are in the back left corner of the player, next to the toroidal (round) power transformer. If any of them have blown, replace that fuse with exactly its type and rating. DO NOT jumper over the fuse, or wrap foil around it. It is EXTREMELY rare for a CD player to blow a fuse unless there is a very serious failure someplace.
If the player blows the new fuse/fuses immediately it will need to be serviced. If the fuses hold, and the player plays, it was just one of those random things.
Now, IF all the fuses are good when you first check it, you have a mechanical failure in the power switch, or a broken solder joint on the board where it's attached. Luckily, a replacement switch is easy to find.

Nad amp failure

Check fuses mounted near transformer . If blown check output transistor. Also check transistor transistors on small heat sink . they will cause fuse to blow.

1.due to some short circuit in your receiver circuit has made the fuses blown
2.Replacing the fuses alone does not get solve.
3. Check the reciever power circuit
4. check whether output is being short circuited
5.Contact service centre
