best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Now, that is a tough one. Only way to unlock the hard drive is to have the original password. You will not even be able to access it retrieve any data you want to save.

Thinking you are in the market for a new hard drive and a complete reload of the system.

Please.. tell me how to remove password toshiba portege R100 i forget

I'm assuming that this laptop is using Windows, and that the password is to an account on Windows.
At the login screen, press Ctrl+Alt+Del twice, and another login screen asking for a username and password should appear. In this box, put "Administrator" for the password, and either insert absolutely nothing, or "Administrator" for the password. I don't remember which works correctly, but one of the two will.

My toshiba R100 wont let me connect to the internet via its ethernet port. It seems like a driver problem to me. Please help!

Go into your windows control panel, once your in the tab looks for an icon that says system. Once you found that click it and open it, there should be a button that said devices. check to make sure your eternet device is in that list. if all else go to your Computer Manufacturers website, find your PC and download the latest drivers.

It is possible to remove the domain login and networking setup, but you need to remove programs and cleanup/remove some registry items.
The best way to fix your problem is to wipe the hard disk and install Windows again. The Windows licence label is on the bottom of the laptop, use this product code to install Windows, you can borrow a Windows CD to do the install. Don't forget to download the device drivers from the Toshiba WEB site before you format your hard disk. You need to install your programs again as well.
If this is too hard then the easiest option is to put up with the login problem.

On my toshiba R100 / SD card reader doesn't work

this problem bugged me for weeks!! finally figured it out today
download the sd card reader drivers from toshiba (not a 3rd party site) boot into safe mode delete all the sd card reader drivers currently installed install the downloaded driver reboot into normal mode
let the computer go about its business installing the driver, then it should work.
cheers, thomas..
