Question about GE 24 in. GSD6660GSS Built-in Dishwasher
Goes through the cycle just fine, but the water won't drain it just sits in the bottom of the washer
Well, I haven't heard from anyone from this site yet, but I did talk to Mike Anderson of Anderson Appliance Repair in Clinton, Ten. He told me how to test the solenoid (should read 40 ohms at 1X on a multi tester). Check that the float at the bottom left corner is working and finally test the wires going into the motor (my motor shut down the moment the machine hit the drain cycle). Sure enough, I get 110 volts throughout and 0 at the drain cycle. He says it needs a new timer. If you try to clean it you'll have little springs and things shooting out. Good luck. and Thanks to Mike Anderson (865-945-3808)
