If you go to this page:
at the search box, type in just the model number, ts380, and click search.
at the results screen you'll the "Free Download" for this manual (PDF format). (there are also options on that page to have them mail you one; but luckily this is one which also has a free downloadable version!)

pull the 4 bottom rubber feet out and remove screws hidden in holes. Lift main body of serger up. you will see the gears. Probably drive gear on motor shaft got hot and slid on motor shaft.
