SOURCE: need to know how to change heating coil in white

The link below discusses disassembly of models similar to yours. The main difference is that the manual covers models with front controls whereas yours has top controls.

Unplug dryer. Place putty knife in the seam between the top and front panel about 2” in from either side. Push in on clip while pulling control panel forward and tilting putty knife handle up, all at the same time. Same on opposite side. Raise top all the way.

Looking down inside dryer on left and right see a screw about 6 inches down. Remove each side while holding front panel in place. Pull top of front panel about 3 inches forward from sides and then pull up. This will disengage the front panel from lower pressure clips and allow you to turn it sideways and expose the dryer interior.

Continue with "Removing the drum" on page 69. Having removed the drum exposes the heater behind it and safety thermostats above the heater shroud. The heater is generally purchased and replaced as a coil only not as a complete assembly as described in step 4 of page 72. Look for a break in the coil by touching all sections until found. If the break is not found check thermostats, motor switch at back of motor and heat contacts in timer for open circuits. Repair as necessary.

Reverse above process to reassemble.

Location of fuse model WER211ESO dryer

The fuse is probably related to the mains plug fuse and unlikely to be this as the machine switches on. Possibly the heater or heater thermostat. You may need a engineer to confirm which one.

You'll have to trouble shoot it... the belt either jumped off the motor pully or it may have broke. Either way you'll have to disconnect it and inspect it. Remember to always unplug the unit when servicing it. If the belt broke it is not hard to replace. The drums are held by gravity on rollers. Simply lift enough to get new belt pass the roller. If there are upper rollers in the way... simply remove them. Don't remove lower rollers. Lift the drum enough to install the belt and replace the upper rollers, relocate the new belt and close it up. Done.

Westinghouse freezer is not freezing and the temp is getting higher. do I need to replace freon? or is there another issue. everything seems to be working and it is running. it is an older model. ...

Last would be refrigerent unless you were aware of a leak (corroded pipe, ice build up on pipes) or gurgling noise when compress cycle is on.
Check temperature control thermostat is working. As this is electrical you need a repair person. If the temperature control passed the electrical function test, the problem may be a defective temperature sensing bulb on the temperature control. The temperature-sensing bulb is an integral part of the temperature control switch, so you need to replace the complete control.

I have an Westinghouse Silhouette 121 freezer. At bottom rear there is an adjuster for Temperature setting. Can you advise how much I should turn this screw adjuster? It reads "Off" at one...

For best performance set the control at a mid point between OFF and HIGH.
The closer you set it to OFF the warmer the freezer.
The closer to the right HIGH the colder the freezer.

I have a white-westinghouse electric dryer and it stoped heating up. It still tumbles just with no heat.

In the back of the dryer you will find a high limit mounted to the element housing sometimes they can be reset and sometimes they just have to be replaced. They can be tested with a meter.or you can jump them out with a wire to test them .this would happen if you had a plugged vent.
