Good luck on a 1987 model. It's only available in paper, do a search or check ebay.

Vertical bars and lines run up and down the screen. Need service manual or parts outlet


There is no such thing as a "vertical sweep circuit board" in that set. The vertical circuit is part of the sweep module. And BTW that type of symptom is more often a power supply filtering problem anyway.

You need to repair TV, sounds like you a convergence problem, but try this THE CONVERGENCE CAN BE RESET BY PRESSING "MENU 12598970", IF THIS DOES NOT RESET THE CONVERGENCE TRY "MENU 125968970"
