Question about Motorola Mobility i425 iDEN Cellular Phone

Can't change wallpaper

I can't change the picture of my wallpaper. The manual said slick ok on the picture, then display/info, then wallpaper. When I click on a picture the only options i get are send and back. When I go to the display/ info, then wallpaper menu under settings, only the stock backgrounds that the phone came with are available, not any of my pics.

I have a suggestion since i had the same problem and still do. The resolution size on this screen is 130 by 130. I uploaded some thumbnails exactly 100 by 100 half of them went to the backround so try smaller pics. and different sizes . There has to be certain resolution combined with certain colors but IDK i havent competely figured it out. And you can't send pics directly to the backround they just appear as you upload IDK Try n figure the right size n color Good luck.

Changing wallpaper on gateway LT4010u

You can change your Windows 7 Desktop photo, also called wallpaper quickly and easily. If you like variety, you can alternate photos and settings on your computer display as well. It takes very little effort, time and computer knowledge to do change your Microsoft Windows Desktop appearance.

Bring up your Microsoft Windows 7 Desktop. Let all the software load completely. You will know it is done when all icons appear in your Windows task bar in the lower left hand corner. Right click (opposite of left click) once on a blank space on your Desktop where there are no icons. This will display a properties menu. Choose personalize from the menu that appears. Notice the different categories of wallpaper that appear. Choose the one you like best. Wallpapers are displayed as tiny icons but you can double-click to see a full image. Click a folder, such as pictures if you would like a picture or wallpaper from your own collection or the Internet. Windows 7 will save this background in your collection for future reference. Check the box that says change picture and choose amount of time you would like the wallpaper in Windows 7 to be displayed. This step is optional. Select picture position. Here you may have to experiment until you find one that fits your screen (resolution) the best. Choose what looks best for you, do not get caught up in the numbers or labels. Hope this helps.

Removing the wallpaper picture from my Nikon D60

To change the Info display format, follow the instructions in the "Info Display Format" section of the manual (page 120 in my copy). If you simply want to change the wallpaper image to one of your own, follow the instructions under "Wallpaper" (page 122 in my copy).

If you need a manual, you may download a copy from here.

Wallpaper

From the main menu, select Settings > Display/Info > Wallpaper > Wallpaper browse to the picture you want.
If you are unable to browse to My Pictures to choose the pic then move the picture to your Wallpaper folder.
If this fails, as there is no reference to this in the phone's manual, I'd guess you can not do it.
