a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Hi I have a Hisense
If you are using a dvi cable you will have to run a seperate audio cable to the flat screen tv input. If you are using hdmi cable then change it.If your using the yell, blu.green cable you need to run a seperate audio cable.Be sure you have the connection to aduio in and not plugged into the audio out on your tv.Try also to get a signal over the air tv and see if you have sound then.If you do you have a connection problem.Bty make sure you have the volume turned up( lolq). If all that still fails the tv is defective.Hopes this helps

SOURCE: I have a 22 inch
Its sounds like the LCD pannel driver ic faulty. In lcd tvs bellow 32 inches this ic is integrated to (part of) the lcd pannel. In 32 inches or above this is a separate circuit board name T-Con board. In your one it is on the pannel itself. There is no repair possible with this. This ics drives the pixels on the LCD screen. To repair the same You have to replace the lcd pannel. The LCD pannel is the most costly part in an LCD tv. Also it will be available only from the authorised servicing center for the Hisense. Its Better to go for a new tv than reparing it.

set is either not getting out of standby or is in shutdown because of a problem inside.
First place to look is the power supply board--follow the power cord inside as it goes right there first.
A quick look will tell you if for example you see puffed up caps what your problem is.
These caps are puffed up and that means bad--if this a fairly inexpensive fix is possible.
If you find this and want to know what to do make a comment here.
