On the front panel press setup >> Tools >> Clean Cartridges
again press setup >> Tools >> Align Printer...
if it does not work then do a reset on the printer
and to do that Press BL/TL/BR/TL Buttons, in sequence
(BL: Bottom left, TL: Top left, BR: Bottom Right) >> Touch Support Menu >> Press Right arrow for Reset Menu and Touch OK >> Press Right arrow for Partial Reset and Touch OK >>
Wait for unit to Power Down/Turn Off >> Press Power button to turn the Printer On...
the printer would automatically align itself...

Why am I getting thin black lines across my pictures when printing them?


Are you printing color, or B&W? Clean cartridge (Black and Photo). Align cartridges. Last resort, wipe contacts on cartridges with lint free cloth and alcohol. Get new cartridges!!

HP C310A grinding noise


Hello,

Grinding noise is unusual. Check for the following ...
> Place the printer on an even surface.
> You may remove the ink cartridges and install them back.

If issue still persists, please call HP Tech Support as the printer requires a service.

If you are from USA and the printer is Out of warranty, then you may be provided an option to Trade in.

If issue still persists, please call HP Tech Support for further assistance.

If you are in US , the toll free # is 1-800-474-6836 .

If you are not in US , then log on to www.hp.com , at bottom-left corner there is a world map icon, click on it and then select the region you belong to, which would then provide support options for you for that region.

My hp photosmart premium c310a printer does not print black All ink levels are normal

Please try these steps: 1. Try a color copy of a document by placing it on the scanner glass and check if it prints well or not (If yes please click on this link and refer to it. Blank pages, if not then go to next step) 2. Take all the cartridges out 3. When you would take them out, then pull the lever to the right of the place where the cartridges fit. 4. Then you would be able to take once more part out, this part is known as printheads. 5. Clean the copper contacts on the back and bottom of these printheads with a clean damp cloth. 6. Then clean the copper contacts of the printer, where these printheads fit. 7. Make sure that your printer is connected to wall jack directly and not to a surge protector before you follow next steps 8. Put all the parts back that we took out. 9. Check if printer starts aligning after putting these parts back. (If yes then move to next step, If not follow these steps to align: - Touch the arrow key when the printer is on the home screen. - Select the Setup option. - Go to Tools in the next menu. - Select Align printer and let the printer align)
10. Then after completing the alignment try to make then copy of the same sheet that you tried before and check if it works or not.
11. If not then call the Hp tech support number and tell them the issue that you're facing.
12. What I believe is that they would replace the printheads for you because your printer is in warranty (Because as far I know you must have bought this printer within last one year and all hp printers have one year factory warranty.)
Important Note: Make sure that you don't tell Hp Technician that you're using the refilled or the third party cartridges even if you are using them)
