Question about Used Hp Photosmart C4780 All-in-one Printer

Open Question

Why won't my printer print until several hours later?

Worked fine until yesterday - have had for 2 years. Now it says the Mac is sending information, but it takes hours for the printer to start - maybe never now. Scanner still works. I have checked connections and have unpluged and restarted -- to no avail. Help!

Even with new inks, magenta and yellow won't print

The ink you replaced costs as much as a new printer that comes with ink. Get a new one.

I'm printing Microsoft Word 2008 for mac files to an HP2600n printer and the tables with shading that has any blue in it comes out black. Why? Why?

It's possible that the Cyan toner is low or depleted. If so, the printer will print the blue areas in black. This is a possible way to check:

1. Open your Applications folder and double click on "System Preferences."
2. When it opens, click on the printer icon with "Print & Scan" underneath it.
3. Click on the HP2600 printer on the left, then click "Options & Supplies"
4. Click on "Supply Levels." Check the Cyan toner cartridge. If it's low, then you'll have to buy and install a new one.

Here is a link to the HP cartridge page.

You'll have to consult the information that came with the printer on how to replace the cartridge.

X6150 printer worked fine until I was running out of ink. So replaced both 82 and 83 cartridges (new). Then got online help with 50C error message; moistened gold area on both surfaces of cartridges and...

Try to do the Clean Cartridge function using the control panel on your printer. 1. Press Copy. 2. Press Options until Maintenance appears on the display. 3. Press the right arrow until Clean Cartridges appears on the display. 4. Press Select. A nozzle page prints, forcing ink through the nozzles to clean the clogged nozzles. 5. Print your document again to verify that your print quality has improved.
If problem continues and it's beyond return period, please contact Lexmark technical support for additional assistance.

My HP Photosmart Premium C310 will not turn on. The computer said it was "offline". I've read the other forums and tried their solutions but none have worked. There is power to the printer....

Hi..

I will suggest you try reset the printer, follow the instruction below to reset your printer, if the problem still persist, replace the cable that connects the printer to the power outlet. If that did not still fix the problem,
1. Without turning the unit off, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
2. Press and hold # and 6 keys.
3. While holding those keys plug the power cord back in.
4. Wait until the screen goes blank before you release those keys.
5. Follow on printer screen instructions.

What kindof printer doyou recomend fora hp2009m slimline desktop

Almost any HP, printer. Depends on how much volume your going to do and the speed you want.
I don't care what anyone anywhere says. No one can touch an HP for reliability. I service those at several Universities and Hospitals and have several of the small HP laser printers with well over a million pages on them. Some in the 2 million page count. You throw in a maintenance kit every now and then and they just flat out run.
I have serviced Lexmark, Xerox, Sharp, Canon,Ricoh and some other off brands. I do NOT sell anything, so to take the sales point of view out of it. I see the productivity and longevity of the HP printers every day I work. They have no close competition. They are in a class of their own.

Mac Intel OX 10.5.5 drivers not loading and working

I had this same problem with my MacBook Pro Intel notebook running the latest Mac OS. I went to the OKI web site ( http://my.okidata.com/pp-C5200n.nsf/openingdrivermenu?OpenFrameSet ) and downloaded the OKI C5000 GDI Intel driver. I followed the install instructions to load the driver. Next, I went to system preferences and selected printers. Then I selected the + button under printers. My current printers showed up on the list. I then selected "More Printers" and the other drivers loaded on my Mac were listed. One option was OKI USB. I selected this option THEN I plugged my USB cable from the OKI into my Notebook. The computer recognized the printer. I hit Save and I proceeded to print my first document. FYI: I spent several hours trying to get this thing to work yesterday with the USB cable already plugged in. I don't know why it would not work. This worked for me. Good luck.
