Power was cut off while oofshore for two months came back and took it outside to clean maggots and nastyness sort of like after a storm. it needed a deep cleaning so itook everything off and out brackets back of freezer panel exposing everything then scrubbed with bleach and turned a water hose on it. put everything back together and it runs but will not get cold at all. oh and blew out the back and bottom with air

see if you can bleed the air trapped in the water line to the ice maker. if air is trapped, water would not be flowing and it would take only a few seconds for the solenoid to be open to let water flow.
see if you can hot wire the solenoid to let water and air out of the tube long enough to bleed the air and hopefully, the ice maker would work continuously.

SOURCE: Hi our fridge is building
The problem is caused by the failure of either the defrost thermostat or defrost heater. In any case, replacing both the defrost heater and the defrost thermostat is recommended, and that would solve your "ice in freezer" problem.

SOURCE: I have an admiral fridge
Sorry to hear that the drain is clear and not the problem, some of the other things that cause that water are;
Freezer door gasket...is it curled up in the corners espicially on the hinged side so air is leaking in and condensating resulting in water
The tube that send water into the icemaker is partially frozen so when water enters the icemaker it's being sprayed and dripping to the bottom(if thats the case ice would probably be built up all over the freezer)
The door for the ice dispenser isn't fully closing and will cause condesation just like the door gasket would
