Our landline was stolen several times and we don't have telephones? 054-3340047 was my number, what can you offer me?

You're going to have to explain your situation better. Of course you don't have phones: they were stolen. What kind of number do you have in your question? Model # of the last phone that was taken? What kind of help are you seeking? Hopefully someone can help after you submit better details.

I want to keep my landline number but am moving to a new exchange area

No issue, use a call forwarding service! It works, I promise! HostedNumbers.com is a good source I've used in the past but there may be better/cheaper services available as that was a few years ago. Best of Luck Friend!

Uniden troubleshooting

was the old phone connected to a Private Automatic Branch Exchange P.A.B.X like for example a comander system if so the new phone would have to be a PABX type phone extention type. I suspect the Uniden phone is not compatible with the PABX extension socket.

I do not know what phone system you are using you might want to find out the model number of your PBX device and research if it uses VOIP = I can only guess that this is the situation

What type of fax copier? Some models have what is called line suspend to keep people from interfering with the transmission of information, this includes other phones inputting dial tones. In general it is best to have a landline that is dedicated to the use of the fax machine.
