My new Miele Washing Machine (Model no WDA 110) is not taking in water. The programme timer counts down but no water comes in thru powder/conditioner. We have checked the installation carefully and

Hi, Jane.
Is the tap on? (Sorry, I had to ask)
Make sure the filters on the inlet valve(s) aren't blocked.
If all is well with the inlet valves you should hear a faint humming. This is normal.
If it's a new machine it would still be under warranty, so you should get a Miele serviceman to check out the problem.
Good Luck
Cheers

Does the Defiant Daylight Adjusting Indoor Digital Timer also uses a battery?

No battery.
This single-pole or 3-way, programmable or dawn-dusk timer is same as GE 15312 sun smart timer, and requires a neutral wire to power the electronics.
GE renamed all their wall timers, or sold their timer business to Defiant in year 2013-4.

http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-wire-GE-15312-timer.html

If you want a timer with same capabilities, that uses a battery, and does not require neutral wire, then choose Intermatic ST01 or Ei600 timer

FLBC9 timer not working

That timer is not known.
Make sure light switch is ON and bulb is good.
Check that outlet has power.
Try timer on different outlet.
Check that timer and outlet has matching voltage, and that timer is rated for the type of load you are turning ON.
If timer is programmable, reset timer, and then reprogram and be careful that each ON time has an OFF time, and that days and times do not conflict with each other.
Copy following link and view timers, and download possible manual.

How to programme UPM Model ETl30

More information is needed to find manual.
ET130 timer appears to have 6 buttons with 3 buttons on each row.
http://hkm888.com/upm-marketing-et130-indoor-programmable-timer-reviews.html

Review options below:

1) Add a comment and describe timer buttons in detail so I can match buttons with known timers.

2) Open following links and check if manuals for ET525, ET420C, ET420 might have same button and programming relationship.

How to open little door? I ask help with how best to open the little door with the Woods InWall 7 Day Digital Programmable Timer. I see the notch below the manual override flat button where it appears...

Hello. Yes the door hindges at the top. and unfortunately yes, too much pressure can crack/snap the plastic. This can be minimized by using a precission screwdriver as it will actually fit into the slot and effect the catch itself. a screwdriver that is larger then the slot does not push the tap that actually "grips". I've been told that installing the timer with the door already popped is a benifit. Just take it slow and steady and you should be fine.

Remember to rate this if it helps.

Thank You,
Richard
