Have left the unit unpluged in the trailer while we came home. will go back in Jan. and put the power back on to it and in hopes that will have had time to reboot the boards. What Board is most likely to be the cause?

Richard Roth thanks for the help. We just got back to the trailer and before we left it I unpluged it so when we pluged it back in I thought that I would try and run it through 1 cycle and to my surprise it run like it should have and now we are 3 loads done and still going. Thanks for your help and now know which board needs to be replaced if it sops again.

Hello Richard Roth. I had the same problem and I decided to change the control board. After I conected it nothing happen, no light but power was on. I decided to check the board to see if it had burned and found the the pcb was rev 2 instead of rev 1. All parts are the same and at the same position. Would you or anyone no the difference between pcb rev 1 and pcb rev 2. the part number is the same Part Number: AP3964074MFG Made by: Whirlpool

The control board will need to be replaced. It is located on the top, right hand side of the unit as you look at it from the front. Remove the screws on the top panel, slide it back to remove it. You will see the board. Here is the board to order.

According to the service manual, if the washer won't drain or spin the drain may be clogged.

Whirpool front load washer model LHW0050PQ4 makes sputtering sound during spin cycle

Power plug off the wall first. Check out the pump which comes after the filter, something shd be clogging there; it shd move freely.
Remove back of machine to see if anything is touching the wheel belt or pulley.

Ytek.netwe just moved into a house with a duet washing machine- a few years old. when we do a normal clean cycle, it doesnt appear there is that much water getting used. How much water should we see thru...

All front loaders use very little water as a opposed to a top loader that uses up to 45 gallons per load a front loader uses about 10,plus a front loader cleans clothes very well with that minimal water usage.
The major question is do the clothes seem to come out clean when you have used that washer?

Locating owners manual for 5th wheel & factory appliances

You'll probably find that the actual owners manual for the trailer is just a generic one, that covers many trailers in the fleetwood line-up. I'm guessing your worried about the AC, microwave, water heater & fridge. Get make & model numbers off them & I'll see what I can come up with. As far as items in the trailer other than that or questions, feel free to get back to me with any, and I should be able to explain most if not all. I'll also keep my eyes open at work (RV dealership) for a manual of your year.

Trying to figure out Cu. ft. capacity

hi wanda, most top load whirlpool units, they make the sears kenmore models, are around 3.0 cubic feet.
its not that important for a top loader, but when going to a front loader thats how they rate them.
what i would recommend is you buy a unit that will do the laundry that you will need to do for the next 15 years.
what i mean is if you have 2 or more young children, that you will be doing laundry for the next 15 years, then a full size front loader would do you good. size 3.5 c/f or larger, like a whirlpool he4 or he5.
if it is just for 2 people then a smaller unit would be better, like a whirlpool duet or sport model.
the reason for the choice is a front loader needs to be filled up for it to work properly. doing smaller loads in a front loader will cause them to shake and not work as well.
now be ready as the new washers will cost about 1,000 bucks.
another suggestion for 2 people would be the whirlpool cabrio top loader. i like them alot and they have very few parts to fail and have a good reliability.
good luck and happy shopping.
p.s. remember sears will match prices and give you 10% off the best price!!

LG Tromm Washer

Wash empry with detergent and double bleach with extra hot water. When cycle is complete open the door to the washer and let airdry. When you close the door with it wet it becomes a breeding ground for bacteria. You may also not be using the correct detergent or the correct amount of detergent.

Wet clothes at end of spin cycle

sounds like your transmission is not working properly. check your warranty information. (should be in your owners manual) many of the whirlpool made top loaders came with a 5 year warranty on the transmission/gear case
