Acer aspire one second display monitor blue

Look onto your keyboard. There is a key that looks like 2 oval one shaded the other clear. Press FN and that key with the symbol on it. It will turn off your LCD and put it into the other. Then hit it again, both screens will have power, but slightly dim, press it once more to turn it off.
Good Luck

Blue background on wpd docs

If the screen is blue with white text, you are seeing one of the original display configurations. I haven't used WordPerfect in a while, but there is a setting in either Options or Page setup to turn on the old blue screen. If that is checked, remove the check and choose the display that you want.

Good luck, and please let me know how it works out for you.
