If you haven't repaired it yet you might try to unplug everything, remove batterys from EVERYTHING, replace batterys, Plug everything back in allow the broadband modem, the access point to do there self tests, start your laptop that should re-set EVERYTHING, If that faile re-set your access point at the re-set button at the rear os the device. Hold the button in for a few seconds and release, that will re-set to default settings. You will need to set-up your access point with a new password ang settings.

First you need to sign up with an Internet Service Provider than can provide a broadband connection wirh DSL (ADSL in Australia) or a cable connection together with a wireless router with a built-in DSL or cable modem. Alternately a wireless router plus a separate DSL or cable modem.
The modem needs to be configured in accordance with the ISP's instructions.
Then the Wireless router and the wireless card in the computer needs to be configured. Follow these steps:-
1. Connect the wireless router to your computer with a LAN cable.
2. Start your browser and enter the router's configuration URL IP address.
3. Enter the router setup, login and password
4. Change the admin password
5. Go to the wireless settings and change the default SSID and turn off SSID broadcast.
6. Setup encryption key the strongest is WPA2 (if not then WPA).
7. For further security measures - turn on MAC address filtering and enter the MAC address of the wireless cards on the computer/s you want to connect to this wireless router.
8. Record the settings you have made and keep it in a safe place and Save the settings.
9. Configure the wireless cards on the computer/s with the SSID and encryption settings of the router.
10. Remove the LAN cable between the router and the computer then the computers should be able to connect to the router.

If you are not sure, then get a computer savy friend to help you.

How do i connet and access the internent with my wi fi

If you use a wireless router with a DSL or Cable Internet service then your laptop with a wireless card can then connect to the Internet. You can also connect to a free WiFi hot spots like McDonalds, Star Bucks, the Airport etc. using the wireless card in your laptop.
If you use the wireless 3G wireless broadband service, then you can access the Internet anywhere where your ISP has 3G wireless coverage. You need to check the service coverage area where you need Internet service.
Once you decide what type of broadband your require, then you need to check with the various Internet Service providers to see if they can offer and the cost of the various plans.
Note the download limits and the associated additional costs if you exceed the monthly download limits. Once you sign up with a Internet Service provider, their documentation will include setting up instructions and/or installation CD.

Internet connetion setup problem

I also faced the same problem in past. You can first of all disconnect your LAN or Wireless connection as sometime is it not recognizing the network properly. You can enable it again and restart your laptop. Try to access internet once your laptop is on as I have resolved similar problem in this manner.

you're using a custom firmware i guess....3.52? or higher.
its just a normal message. the firmware is actually programmed to show that message if there is no available wifi signal or weak signals or if you're trying to connect to a restricted connection.hope this calmed you down.dont worry its normal for that firmware. :)
