Check the neutral switch on the steering column. Sounds like the neutral switch is bad. It is located on the steering column inside and by the floor mat. There is usually two screws that mount it and a wire harness to unplug. Just be sure and don't move the gear selector while changing the switch.

Transmition does not ingage when cold after a few min its ok

The trans fluid cooler(s) are draining back into the pan when the truck is parked. Depending on the year of your truck and which engine you have, there may be an updated cooler line with an improved check valve but on the older diesels (2 gen) we remove them anyway. After you start the engine, shift the trans into neutral and let it build pressure before you put it in drive (or anything else). It won't build pressure in park and if you put it in gear before there is pressure, it will wear the clutch material.

Starter stays engaged park or nuetral

Powssible that there is always power to the inhibitor switch. It is the switch that only allows current to flow thru it when in park or neutral. Could be power is always present at the switch when it is in park or neutral. Check the ignition switch first and see if it is powering the start circuit all the time.

sounds like it maybe your linkage have you ever had any work done on your ****** just a small adjustment can cause a lot of problems also there is a sensor that tells your car wether the brake is ingaged or not when putting it into park sometimes those sensors go bad

My 87 jeep starter stays ingaged when I try to start it

needs shimmed or the bendix is bad in the starter and not allowing to release. most likely just needs shimmed if it's a new starter, however you can get a bad starter (new or rebuilt)

Caen turns on but when put in park it does not ingage

Check the transmission fluid level. In park car idle at operating temperature. The level should be in it marking. If the level is correct, then you are dealing with a internal transmission failure not putting out enough pressure

High range 4x4 works. light comes on. but the low range does not ingage nor does the light

dunno if this is your solution but your bronco only will go in low range if it is in nuetral. not park but nuetral only start your bronco put it in 4 high first then once it goes into 4 high make sure in nuetral then put in 4 low.
