I have installed window 7 in my hp nx6310 but after installation there is no sound how do i solve this please

Please go to device manager and check if there's no device with exclamation mark (unidentified), if this is OK maybe your audio card is only muted or with low volume, if it's as unidentified, you must search the corresponding Windows 7 driver for ADI Soundmax audio card.

You can check wheather the driver is installed or not by going into device manager. click on start in the search type devmgmt.msc press enter you will get the device manager, in the device manager just check if you have any question mark or exclamation mark on mice and pointing device if you have that means the driver is not installed.
Install the driver, restart the computer.
that will fix the problem.

Audio output device has become disengaged--- says "No audio output device installed."

Hi, Right click "My Computer" and go to manage. When the next screen opens go to "Device Manager" in the right hand pane you will see a list of hardware, expand "sound, video and game comtrollers". if you see a yellow exclamation mark here there is something wrong with either the driver or hardware.

First thing to do if you see a exlamation mark or not is to right click the audio controller and select uninstall.

Once that has finished click on any item in the device list and look at the top of the window, you will see a computer icom with a magnifying glass on it, Click on this.

Your computer will now search for any hardware that is not installed and re-install the audioo drivers for you.

If your computer cannot find the drivers, then you need to go to your computers manufacurer website and download the latest drivers from them and re-install.

Let me know how you get on, if it does not work we can try a couple of other things.

Exlamation light on sometimes, rattling at low rpm, hesitation

need to be more specific with the exclamation light... color, description of what the light looks like with the exclamation.

Red usually means your brakes,
Orange should be coolant related
