SOURCE: Cant remove drain pump cap of bosch washing macine

I just replaced my drain pump on my BOSCH washing machine WFL2060-so almost identical to yours. When I posted my question, I was told that it was a pain to do, that many repairmen refuse to do it etc.... even that the front panel does not come off. Well, I am a fairly petite (by athletic) woman, and very far from being an expert at repairing anything....
I just did it in less than 45 minutes with a screw driver and a pair of pliers (and a bit of common sense). Here is the protocol:
1- UNPLUG your machine
2- drain any water that could be left inside (at the bottom front right, you will find a small door: open it, the filter and the small black hose are there)
3- . put an old blanket on the floor behind your machine and a piece of wood long enough to go across the width of your machine- place it half way to what will be the height of your machine once it lies down on the floor- this will save your fingers in case you loose grip of the machine while tilting it down on its back...
4- tilt your machine back and down on its back: use your thigh muscles as the machine si a bit heavy (if you have a friend help you that will be easier-but I did it alone...
5- remove the bottom front panel (2 screws)
6- above the filter access you will see 1 to 3 screws: take them off
7- from the bottom of your machine, take out the electric plug at the back of the pump's motor
8- using your pliers (and a good grip) loosen the metallic braces that hold the 2 hoses and slide them down along each of the hoses
9- the unit will come off into your hand.
10- replace the unit with the new one
11- screw the unit back
12 plug the wires back
13 reposition the hoses (you cannot go wrong, they are on wither side of the pump)
14- slide the braces back onto the hose+pump outlet
15- tilt your machine back
16- plug your machine
17- you are ready for your load!
AND... you have saved about $200 without the part (I ordered it, paid $49 and was delivered to me within 2 business days!)

SOURCE: Bosch Error Code 13 Washer won't drain

First, unplug your washer. After that find the little round plate below your drum opening on the exterior of the washer. It should have a small hole in it. Use something to gently push trough this hole and twist the cover off, Inside there you will find the drain access. Be careful, if there is water in your drum this will make a mess when you unscrew the drain access. Take the usual precautions and unscrew the drain access slowly until it is off. Remove any obstructions and replace access door and cover. Clean up any mess and plug back in your washer and try again. takes about thirty minutes to an hour depending on how much water is in the drum.

Bosch washing machine error code F61 was does it mean

Hello,

An F61 error code on your Frigidaire washer indicates a failure of the drain pump relay. Depending upon the model, your washer may be under warranty for up to 6-15 years above , so check your warranty's status before attempting any repairs yourself.

To solve the error code problem apply the below step one after the othe

  • A power outage can cause error codes to display on the screen, even if there's no problem. Hold down the "Cancel" button for three seconds, or unplug the machine briefly to see if the code goes away. If it returns, the problem is real.

  • The pump can also be the problem

  • Unplug the machine and remove the service panel. Locate the pump on the floor of the machine, to the left of the tub, towards the front. Inspect the wiring for burns, breaks or loose connections, and replace as necessary. Use only appliance-grade wire.

  • TO REPLACE THE CONTROL PANEL.

  • If the wiring is fine, the problem is a severed relay on the control panel. Unfortunately, this cannot be repaired and must be replaced. Remove the control panel from the upper portion of the back of the machine, and replace with an identical part from Frigidaire. Generic parts can cause additional damage

  • Hope this help?

    Thanks.

What does the erro code f-02 mean

    Hi,

“F02” is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a “SUDS” error may also be generated as a secondary error. This is an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:

    1. Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.

    2. Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.

    3. Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.

    Thank you !!

Error code E:13 on my 500 plus series washer

    Hi,
The E13 error code on your Bosch washer refer to a drainage problem or the pump time might have been exceeded
Either it might be due to a clogged pump, improper detergent being used, ( must use "HE" detergent ) hence suds not allowing a proper drain cycle. You should clean water drainage pipe and/or drain hose. Turn selector to off and restart 'drain, program or, on 500 plus machines, the 'refresh' program. It also says this is caused by using too much detergent. Bosch recommends using half of what the manufacturer recommends when using HE detergents. They don't recommend regular detergents. First run the short wash or refresh cycle without detergent and hopefully your lines will clear.

    Thank you !!

I have a WAS24460UC Bosch washer. It won't drain. The pump runs, sounds like it has an air pocket or like the pump is running backwards? I have had a F34 and an F18 erro code.

Check the drain line for kinks or obstructions. You can take a flashlight, remove the hoses from the pump and look into the suction port of the pump. Check for anything clogging the pump. (like the occasional stray sock). Also check the pump impellers for broken or missing blades and ensure that the pump impeller spins freely. If any blades are broken/missing or if you cannot get the impeller to spin freely, the pump is defective and will need replaced. Hopefully it is just a clogged pump or drain line. Hope this helped and best wishes.
