Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: WRT120N ROUTER TO KINDLE FIRE

To connect to your wireless router, the router's wirelesssettings needs to be configured with the SSID, encryption etc. and also thewireless cards in all the laptops/computers needs to be configured with theserouter's wireless settings. Then the laptops/desktop computers can communicatewith your wireless router.
Connect a LAN cable from the Linksys to the LAN port on your computer.
Open a browser and enter the Linksys configuration URL
http://192.168.1.1
The default login = admin
The default PW = admin
You can protect your router by changing the default admin PW (write it down andput it in a safe place)
Go to the wireless configuration and set up the SSID and WPA or WPA2encryption.
Now apply these settings to the wireless card in your laptop/computer.
To secure your wireless network from unauthorized access, please click on thislink and follow my instructions :-http://www.fixya.com/support/r3559128-wireless_router_security

My fire kindle will not connect to my internet services even until yesterday everything was working fine, I keep getting an ' authentication problem?

Try re-checking your wi-fi password. Log off your connection, Then try again to log-on. Make sure you have the right service, put in info and see if it takes. You may have to try a different service to see if the problem may be their's. If you logged into a different wi-fi recently you may still be logged into that one even though out of their range.

I just got a Kindle 8 and have a 3rd generation Kindle Fire HD and need to get my books and apps moved to my new Kindle. How do I do this?

You need to log the new Kindle into the same account as the old kindle. All your purchases should then be available to download from your amazon account to your new device.

My old kindle quit working and I bought a new kindle fire. How can I add my old kindle account to my new kindle fire?

What you really need to do is add your new Kindle device to your
existing Amazon Kindle account. The good news is if you bought it from Amazon new, Amazon automatically registers it to your existing account. So . . .

Go to the Amazon website using your laptop or desktop computer and log onto your Amazon account.

1)On the upper right of the page you should see *Hello (your name)*
Drop down this menu by hovering your mouse pointer on it.

2) Select *Manage your content and devices*

3) If you're not logged in, enter your Username and password.

4) If you're browser is set to save passwords an log in you won't
need to do step 3

5) Select the *Your Devices* tab

6) All your Kindle devices should be listed there, including the new
Kindle Fire.

7) You can click on your old Kindle and *deregister* it.

8) You can make your new Kindle Fire your *default device* and
you can edit your other Kindle devices such as any Android
Device onto which you have installed the Kindle App.

9) The default device status ensures new books purchased will
automatically download to that device when it's connected to
the internet via Wi-Fi or 3G depending on what your Kindle Fire
is configured with.

10) You can click on the *Settings* tab to manage your credit card and other information.

My new kindle fire keeps rejecting my password so i cant sign in

Access your wireless router and change the security settings from WPA or whatever to none and APPLY or SAVE.

Then immediately after, change the security setting back to the orginal security setting WPA or whatever.

Try it again.

If no joy, go to your Kindle and find the wireless settings and find the entry for your wireless router and delete or forget that network.

Restart your kindle and try logging into the wireless router again.

My kindle wi-fi keeps kicking out. I have G3 and never had to put in a specific wi-fi source. Now it continually asks me to connect, and won't even accept a proper on our home wi-fi router.

Your kindle has a sim card installed for 3G (lifetime licence paid by amazon and paid for on purchase price on the unit) but that is not related to the wi-fi function on your kindle. Your wi-fi service needs to be logged in to with the same password as you use to log any computer on to your router when at home or whatever wi-fi password is required when elsewhere (e.g a bus, train or restaurant).

Accidentally deleted my facebook account from my kindle Fire still have it on my phone c i cant get my account back on my kindle Fire

1 Turn on your Kindle and press the "MENU" button.

2 Turn to page two and scroll down to "MANAGE SOCIAL NETWORKS"

3 Enter your FACEBOOK email address and password and click "Link Account." This links your Facebook account with your Kindle, and automatically logs you in so you can share passages from your books.

I'm trying to add a Kindle Fire HD to my Cisco home network. the network recognizes that a device has been added and the Kindle is connected to the network, but I have no connectivity to the internet

If the router cannot connect to the Internet, neither will the kindle; ie the kindle is not the problem. Try connecting with another device going through the same router.
