SOURCE: timer / heater malfunction

NVL333EY0AA is more likely the model number.

The heating element is probably shot. You will have to remove the front and drum to get to it. You need not buy the whole pan, there is a restring kit available in aftermarkets.

SOURCE: GE Dryer Model #DWSR483EB2WW Dryer tumbles,

Does it get hot when you start the dryer, and never gets hot again when its running? The solenoid wire might be opening due to heat, the solenoid is responsible for opening the gas valve, and booster valve. The wire is located in a round plastic sleeve with two electrical contacts sticking out.

SOURCE: Our dryer stopped heating up and will not dry clothes

tif it is most likley the element has gone bad they usually cost about 45 dollars and if you can find a friend to help you replace it its not that hard best bet is to call a used appliance store they usually have them new and in stock do not try going to the manufacture they will charge you double for the same exact part

Kenmore 80 series dryer keeps tripping breaker after it runs for 5-10 minutes

First, see if you get the same result when you run the machine on "Air-Fluff." If you don't pop the breaker on Air -Fluff you know the problem is originating in the heat circuit, get inside the machine and inspect the wiring for crispy/burned terminals and the heat element for damage or contact with the housing... If it does pop the breaker on Air-Fluff: Inspect the terminal block on the back of the unit where the power cord is bolted on (with the unit unplugged), look for any scorched spots- if that is clear, remove the outlet cover and inspect the wire connections on it for scorching (with the circuit break off). Can't be more specific without a model #!

Dr comes up wont start

dr is door error
this generation of dryer has alot of control board failures(the relay for the heat burns the terminals for the wires)
you can inspect these relay connection visably by removing the front control panel

you might want to try setting the machine to the fluff/air dry setting and try starting the dryer, if it starts in air fluff you need to check the connections on that relay
this is not a factory taught test.
its just something a customer pointed out one time and i have tried on many after the fact, and for whatever reason these machines will still run in fluff mode when the board is gone.

My hotpoint condensed dryer is steaming up my windows and I don't know why as I thought that was the point of the condenser. It's model number is Tcm 850, anyone got any suggestions or can help, thanx

Hello Scot, just make sure the fluff filter is clean and the exit tube for the air is clean they should just slide out fluff filter and pull off the fluff and the air exit tube normally get quite dirty with fluff and debris. So take that out and take it outside and wash it through with a hose from both ends. The water tray should also be emptied regularly but the panel will tell you when that is full.
Hope that helps
Steve

My BOSCH dryer #WTE86300US keeps stopping in mid cycle and gives the signal -0- what does mean that error code?

check fluff filter usually in the door is clear, it can be that it is overheating due to lack of air as the fluff filter is full. also check air escape pipe is clear and not blocked or folded.

I hope this was useful.

Heating element stays on, even at fluff air no heat setting. Replaced high limit thermostst and thermistor Air flow good

If your heating element is grounded (wire burnt in half and is touching metal) the heat will stay on forever, even in air fluff. This is your most likely problem.

Have GE harmony profile dryer about six years old. Interior light goes on but no other indication of power. Have checked cord, fuses and vent. Any suggestions appreciated. Hal Dresner

These dryer have a re-settable thermal limit mounted on the heater. With any luck that is all you need to do is clean up the fluff in the dryer and reset the limit. Here is the service manual
