Contact JVC as usually a combination of front buttons pressed and held is needed to get out of the demo mode---channel up and vol up at same time etc.

Get kw-nt500hdt out of demo mode

Hello Connie, Thank you for your question.
The JVC unit you have installed can detect when the car is in motion. If you are stuck in the DEMO mode start the vehicle and drive a short distance, once the system detects motion it should remove itself from the DEMO mode. I hope this helps =)

After searching for an hour or so I finally came across this answer that worked for the L40A105A
To answer your question;
First you must set your tv`s input to TV
Then open your menu and go to setup and open it
You will see "auto setup" open it and you will see "e-pop demo" turn it off .

Hello jayme84,

To cancel "DEMO" mode on the JVC:

Enter the PSM (personal settings mode) and turn DEMO off.

1) Press and hold "SEL" until the display changes.
2) Use the left/right rocker switch until "DEMO ON" is displayed.
3) Turn the volume knob to select "DEMO OFF".
4) Press "SEL" to exit.

Hope this helps.

Persistent menu on screen pop ups

I just had a similar problem, and it turned out that one of the little rubber buttons was pushed down and had gotten stuck under the plastic housing just enough to create contact, but hardly enough to notice at first glance.

It sounds funny but, unplug the set for 30 seconds to allow the TV to reset then see if the problem still is there.
