SOURCE: I have a pulsar watch,

The movement for this watch is obsolete so I cannot find a spec sheet for it. From memory I think it is a 371 (SR920). If you can give me the exact measurements of the area the battery slots into (DEPTH and DIAMETER) (in milimeters) then I can tell you exactly which battery.

SOURCE: My Pulsar solar powered watch

Hello, and thanks for using FixYa.

unfortunately it is very difficult to identify the watch based on those details. Just open the back cover and see what battery is inside, often its a very small battery that costs a few dollars.

mcdevito75 here, While a battery change is fairly easy, you will need a set of precision screwdrivers, you can improvise but could ruin your watch, Look for a small watch repair shop in your area the $15.00 will equal your time, effort, and tools you"d need. Plus the battery lasts a year.

What is the battery specifications for DKNY ladies Watch NY3971?

If you look at the movement inside the watch it should be possible to find the movement number (you might need a loupe or magnifying glass to see it clearly) and name (e,g, Seiko-Epson, Miyota etc.)
If you can supply that information I can tell you which battery it requires.

What does this Y148-8009A1 and 491300 mean on the back of a pulsar P watch

Y148 is the quartz movement model, 8009 is the case number.
The 491300 is the serial number, which means that the watch was produced in January of either 1994, 2004, or 2014. I have no idea what the A1 in a box is for. I hope this helps.

The hour & minute hands on my pulsar nx14-x001 do not move. the second hand quivers, but also does not move. the digital time and other functions are okay. HELP!

Without knowing the model of the watch i would say you need a new battery. It is typical for this style of watch to have two batteries or one lithium battery. In either case the analog movement will drain faster than the digital portion of the watch and will stop working first.

Bought pulsar- no instructions

Go to the pulsar website to see if they have a PDF file with instructions or scour Google with the Y182 etc. information. That info is the movement model number the Seiko website may also have information. Knowing the movement information may link you to instructions. Call or go to Otto Frei website, call them and they may point you to the right direction. They probably sell that movement.
