I have an MFC 7820N printer and it continues to have paper jams in the rear of printer. The paper continues to crinkle and sometimes prints and other times it jams. Do the rollers ever need replacing in this printer?

If the paper is jamming at the exit rollers, you will be need to clean the rubber on the rollers. It gets shiny and does not grip the paper to take it away.

I clean the rollers with Isopropyl Alcohol and the green kitchen scouring pads. When the rollers are shiny they often have white/grey markings on them. Keep scrubbing until rubber is roughened up.

There is a little cover there that has a sensor flag on it. It is most likely in a jammed position. If you are able to carefully take the cover out, you can bend it slightly, readjust the sensor flag, and reinstall it.

How do you remoce the drum to clear a paper jam on

Lift the top, remove the toner and open the access panel in the back, remove the printer tray. You should be able to see the full path the printer takes from start to finish. Rarely do you need to take anything else apart. If these areas are clear as the printer will attempt to clear jams when you start it up.
