Question about Audio Players & Recorders
Translated as; All I can suggest is power it right down, pull the battery out and back in and see if launches then vid not take I to an expert. Good Luck
It would mostly be the system that hanging for some reason, so my presumption is based on after its been shit down completely and taking the battery out then back in that it should reset the system and hopefully get passed the problem. If not and a electronic person looks at it and mention replacing a part, don't, just toss it and get a new one. Be worth it in the long run ;)

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: RCA Lyra 1GB MP3 Player
To download pictures go into the program on your computer that holds your pictures and make sure you have your mp3 player hooked up. All you have to do is right click on the photo that you want to put onto your MP3 once you right click select the option send to and choose your f: file (on my computer that is the file that my mp3 shows under) then just select that file (f file on my computer and click on that file. Your pictures will be tranfsfered to your MP3 Player. Hope this help you out!

well an ipod is not an mp3 player it plays m4a / m4v files. so basically it's not compatable. BUT you could make them compatable. all you need to do is convert them to the correct format (mp3). there are several ways to do this; software (almost never free) or my personal choice: media-convert.com. keep in mind it will take a while to do. what you do is upload the m4a file (one at a time) to the site and they do the conversion for you.
NOTE: it wont work if the music is encrypted (i.e.. purchased online and downloaded)
I hope the "NOTE:" didnt ruin it for you.
Best of luck to you!

Testimonial: "thank you soo much i think i might just return it and buy an ipod!"
I am no expert by any means so I had my husband help me out with the exact same problem with my player which is identical to your's in style, featues and Model Number. He is no expert either but he has a knack for fixing quirky problems with electronics so after trying to reach the "real experts" online with no response for days and days, I enlisted his help. We decided to insert the player into the USB port on our computer. Before doing so we powered it on and of course all we got was the same old "PEARL" screen that it's been stuck on for days. We waited for a moment after plugging in to the USB port and then while still hooked up to the computer, we held down the round power/menu button on the top of the player for a few seconds. We then held down the other silver button on the top of the player (silver button with the arrow pointing right) for a few seconds as well. Afterwards the screen on the player began to display the "please wait" message and was no longer frozen on the "PEARL" screen that it's been stuck on for days. We then removed the player from the USB port. We shut down power on the player and immmediately powered it up again. Now it is working as normal. I'm listening to my music on it right now. We do not know why this worked. We just tried it because we had tried everything else to no avail. So, thought I'd share this with you. Maybe it's just a fluke but it worked for us. It's worth a shot ! You have nothing to lose so I'd urge you to give it a try. Best of Luck to You ! I totally understand your frustration. Hope your's works again too ! Have a great weekend !

Taking out and replacing the battery might help, mostly.
There's also a trouble shoot page:
When needing the manual look here:
I'd appreciate your vote if this helped.
