Use the Zebra driver and set the printer driver to use printer settings. Otherwise the driver will override and change the printer settings to match settings in the driver.

My transcend 4 GB works fine on my office computer but not on my computer at home. pl. help

Assumption your PC do have enhanced USB ports ie USB 2.0 and using WinXP OS.

If your home PC Operating System WinXP, you should at least have WinXP Service Pack 2 installed on your PC for the USB ports to function using Microsoft generic USB drivers.

If your USB ports are using VIA chipsets, sometimes you need to install the VIA USB drivers too.

Hope it helps.

Check your BIOS setup for the SATA interface settings. If it's set to "Native" or something to that effect, change it to "Compatible" or "IDE" or similar, and try installing XP again.
As a last resort, you may need to supply SATA drivers for your motherboard (unpacked, with all the individual files visible) during the setup, when it says something like "press [something] to supply 3rd party device driver". The problem is, that Windows expects it on a diskette...

Are the settings in the print driver set to the highest quality setting? If so, this will slow the print speed down tremendously. Try changing the default settings in the print driver to a lower quality (or resolution) setting.

Blank Monitor

Start pressing F8 at boot

When the Windows Startup menu appears, select ENABLE VGA MODE

This will boot the system in 640 x 480 resolution but the video driver will be installed. Once at the desktop, either reset the display to the normal resolution settings or reinstall the video driver.

Acer Aspire 3004 - Random reboots; random mouse program select w/o mouse click

the rebooting could well be a driver error, and you pc is set to reboot instead of stopping and showing the code numbers on a blue screen togive any clues, but it sounds as if it could be the touchpad driver. Go to my computer icon, right click>properties>hardware tab>device manager and look down the list for mice and other pointing devices and click the '+' sign and it will probably read synaptics touchpad, right click on it and select uninstal. Restart your notebook and the touchpad will be installed automatically and should, if the driver is not corrupt perform as normal.

System Crashing going to Blue Screen

Hi, My experience with BSODs more often than not involves memories. I have tried a couple of things aside from replacing the memory themselves: 1. Increase the virtual memory to roughly double physical memory; 2. Lower the CAS latency from 2T to 2.5 or even 3T; 3. install dual memory, instead of single 1G, 2 X 512; and/or 4. Run the BIOS at default and not Optimized settings. A couple of times, I have to reinstall the OS and used the drivers that were current at the time of the motherboard production (I know means not updated). There was even a time I had to tweak the registry to unload unused dlls and prevent certain services running at startup. Hopes this be of some help to you and give you ideas. Pls post again how things turn up. Good luck and kind regards.
