Lan driver for d33006

you will need to open up your network connections click start control panel network connections this may vary depending on your operating system look for local area connection if you see a red x or a yellow exclamation or question mark ! ? you will need to update or install the driver or it could be firewalled

If you are trying to connect through a modem/router the driver should have come with a disc provided by your ISP internet service provider or your motherboard disc

click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to network adapters could see a yellow question / exclamation mark? ! or a red X right click install drivers

http://download.cnet.com/gigabyte-gigabyte-wireless-lan/3000-2112_4-169032.html

if this driver package is not right
http://download.cnet.com/2000-20_4.html
on the home page you should see a search tab just type in what you are looking for
(be precise)don't use numbers and - /
IE: motherboard name LAN driver

hope this helps

sometimes the wires inside the cable will be damaged due to bending or stretching or placing heavy equipment upon the cable

just replace the cable of the hard disk, when you plugged the external disk drive you got that windows could recognize the USB device change the cable everything should work fine again,

check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually red-white-green-black make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems

if this fails to fix the problem
you might have to install a usb 2 or 3 card they are cheap and easy to install you can buy these on Ebay very cheap

if you need help obtaining the usb card post a reply
hope this helps

I need a manual for the black cherry portable high-speed UB 2.0 hard drive. The one I have is 160 GB. Thanks.

Here is the manual that covers all of the SimpleTech Signature Mini External USB 2.0 Hard Drives. This is a pdf document, so you may need to install Adobe Acrobat Reader if you don't already have it installed.

I dropped my Simpletech 250 gb external drive for several times, now when i plugged in to my pc the red light is on but the blue light is not coming out, and i cannot see the external drive in my pc, how...

Take out the hard disk from your case and put it inside a desktop- if there's still some life left in it it will appear in My Computer. If it doesn't appears even there then it's dead for sure and all the data on it is lost.

Have a 160 GB ext. Hard drive - no longer made. Bought it over a year ago but never plugged it in until two day ago. The red light comes on but it does not show up under"My Computer" Took it to Best Buy...

Although I have seen it fail often, in your case it is worthwhile to try the 'Add hardware' wizard in the Control Panel. If you have an installation disk of any kind, have it at hand. Let the system look for the drive (plugged in of course) and if it finds it and has no drivers for it, it will ask for the installation disk but you may have to tell Win where to look for it by drive letter. If you don't have an installation disk, you will have to go through the drivers list offered to see if SimpleTech is listed.
SimpleTech still has an active website so I would check there first:
SimpleTech support page
If you have no luck you find no driver, there are several websites that have a huge array of drivers for current and obsolete hardware.
Good luck-

How do i start the hard drive to copy my files?

Now that you access your files, you'll need a backup software. This program will help you move your files (and you can schedule when you want this done). This particular program is free and is trustworthy. Go to this link....and download the program.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/cobianbackup

Once the program is installed, you should be able to select the folders, drives, files, etc. that you want cobian to move. I hope this helps. Come back to Fixya, if you have any more issues.

SimpleTech PininFarina external hard drive - site to download drivers

the hard drive you have is plug n play.
if windows does not recognize it, you may have to uninstall the hard drive.
right click your computer. click properties.
click on the "Hardware" tab. Click on "Device Manager".
open the category of "Disk Drives".
If you see your drive with a yellow exclamation point or a red "X", continue. If it does not, either it was dropped or its a faulty drive.
Right click your drive and click "Unistall". Click OK.
Now, unplug the drive and plug it in again.
it will install by itself.
Go to my computer and check that its there. If its not, you may have a bad drive. either send it for a new one (if still in warranty) or replace it.
