Tomraider underworld freezes on wii

In southern mexico near the end of this chapter when I go into a small room and collect the last treasure ( gold bar) when I try to jump up to the ledge lara freezes and then makes a buzzing sound , I have tried removing the disc and cleaning it to no avail HELP !!!!!!!
