Which kind of plant-based milk is best to make cappuccino?

One can use many types of plant based milk for making cappuccino. It can be soy milk, almond milk, coconut milk, chia milk, hemp milk, rice milk, oatmeal milk, hazelnut milk or any other.
According to my taste, I always use almond milk to make a cappuccino as it provide a great taste and flavour to the cappuccino.

The milk frother has stopped rotating.....the milk heats but the frother doesnt rotate hence no froth.... am in india, mmbai so dont know where i can fix it !

The solution to rotation issues with the frother have been soved finally by myself after reading all the suggestion. The fix is simple... Your attachments have been magnitised and need to be demagnetized. It works a beauty. Run a magnet around the metal rings. Hint. Never leave them on the the frother when not being used.

I have a new Krups XP 5240 machine. The instructions tell you how to make espresso and froth milk for cafe lattes, but don't mention how to actually MAKE the latte. What is the correct procedure for...

Hi,
A latte can be made to suit your own taste, but as a starting point I would suggest:
Steam your milk first to 140 f, let it rest for at least 30 seconds( the temp will continue to rise up to around 160-180 f
while the milk is resting make your espresso shots; I like quite a strong coffee so I would make 2 shots using the double measure (once the coffee starts flowing this should take 15 seconds)
pour your shot(s) into a cup/mug first then top up to about 5mm from the rim of the cup with milk, holding the froth back with a spoon.
finally knock out any bubbles by banging the milk jug on the worktop ( this can be messy until you get good at it). using a spoon/ swirling the jug mix the foam and remaining milk until combined then top up your cup. this gives the smooth foam on the top of the latte.

Hope this helps,
Leni

Milk container won't fit onto front of machine

We had the same problem & worked out that it's because the actual milk container is too cold & has contracted from being in a cold part of the fridge. We moved the milk container to the door of the fridge ( it's a little warmer than the rest of the fridge) & it slotted in perfectly the next morning!

Steamed milk

I've just taken delivery of an S9 and my lattes were lukewarm too. What you have to do is move the dial on the steamer to the 3 o clock position. See http://cdn2.libsyn.com/coffeegeek/jura_frothxpress.mov?nvb=20081110133816&nva=20081111133816&t=018ee7ad85c33f422c6a5 . Latte I just made was piping hot. If that doesn't fix it, try the Products settings. If still lukewarm I think you should contact your dealer, maybe you have a duff machine.
