When I try to push speed button to power on the unit shuts off. I then have to use a paper clip to reset. The green light comes on, so I indicate power. The ac adapter light is on. When I push the power button on(left side of keyboard, it shuts off. I tried holding the button down, but it shuts itself off as soon as the contact is made and then I have to reset the unit with the paper clip in order for power to be indicated. Looks as if button on left corner does not feel right when I push down on it. Matman

Remove the battery and the AC adapter from the laptop.
Press and hold the power button for 60 seconds then let go
Plug the AC adapter only back into the laptop
Now press the power button on the laptop
If it now boots properly shut down the laptop and insert the battery
Now push the power button again
If it now fails you may have a bad battery
try removing the battery and just use plug power only if it boots normally then change the battery and the change the power supply unit as well I would just start with the power supply unit first then see if the battery charges up if not the battery is bad replace it. Now if the computer will not start with the battery removed then you have a power supply issue.
Change and replace it. Hope this helps. Also when computer lap top get hot they will shut down to protect the computer wait and let it cool down then try to restart your computer. If this does work and the lap top restarts normally get a fan cooler that is USB powered and the lap top sits on top of it. Also make sure the fan is running and is not stopped. Clean and dust it out once in awhile. I hope this assists you with your problem. John
try resting the router and also making sure your lap top or wireless desktop isn't the problem. To reset the unit - -unplug all but the power cord - straighten out a paper clip and find the tiny hole marked RESET - hard to see - then - with everything unplugged but the power cord and the unit turned on - push the paper clip end into the RESET for 10 SECONDS - then unplug the unit for 10 seconds and plug it in - turn it on and re attach all other cords as needed. Be sure your pc is plugged in to the first pug or LAN - this will make a difference if you have more than one wired pc on the network. If that fails - please =- find the disk or go online and call D-LINK - they are the best - the BEST -service EVER - of all the units for Tech-- the BEST .
According to the service manual of the printer, the Error 6A00 is one of the Service Call Errors (by LED blinking in orange and green alternately 12 times.) The name of error is “AP position error [6A00]”.The sheet unit (QM2-1220)or Logic board ***’y (QM2-1520) may be faulty. And the replacement of the part is needed which is likely to be faulty. It means that you have to waste money. But you can try the solutions below: Solution 1: It looks like the print heads need to dip down into the small sponges underneath the white plate at the end of the start motions.Just move the print head carriage (white plate) back and forwards a few times.
Solution 2: Some where in the paper path a sensor is activated indicating paper jam so the printer will give off a 6A00 code. This may be related to the purge unit being jammed with something and not being able to move. Moving the print head assembly will not clear a purge unit if its jammed with paper, paper clips, push pins, screws, cookie crisp, flower bud pods or the like. The offending item needs to be removed or the purge unit needs replacement. Solution 3: Press the ink pads down in the purge unit. Solution 4: After trying the solutions above to reset the error: 1. Turn off printer 2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button. 3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go. 4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go. 5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking. 6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times. 7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more. 8. Your printer should respond as normal. I hope it helps. Make sure that you leave the unit plugged in for two hours, and remove the sd card, if you have a card in it.
On the top or bottom of the unit is a usb port and a reset button, take a paper clip and open it, then put the paper clip into the little reset hole and push in for 30 seconds.
Turn on unit, hold the on button for 5 seconds, now turn off, now hit the reset button again as said above and then power on and run though your menu and see if this did the trick, if not you might have to send the unit in for repair.
people are having a good deal of success with the method below.
do not connect to cumputer whilst doing this.!
If you have an SD card in try removing that before you power up.
You may also want to try the hard reset. Paper clip in the tiny hole by the card slot.
Push it in firmly whilst the unit is powered up (not too hard) for about 3 seconds then release You may have to power down and then up again and even hold down the power button a little longer the first time you do this.
Check the manual...blinking green light is normal. The unit is powering down cooling the lamp. It could have been a shut down command through pressing the off button by accident. If problem continues I would unplug tv and power on/off. Steady green. Next to the lights is a small indentation where you can reset the TV to the defaults. Take a paper clip ...power on..and put in the center. The green light will blink for a minute or two then go dark. THen power up.
