Faucet is leaking

Hi Cindy you don't say where it leaking from so:
If you have a dripping that won't completely turn off then the stem washer needs replacing. If it is leaking at the handle then the "O" ring is bad.
I suggest you just replace both.

Under your sink turn off the two water supply knobs
remove the handle. Either a screw on top or and allen screw under and on the side then pry up. this maybe hard so wiggle it.
now take a crescent wrench and unscrew the stem
you see a washer screwed to the bottom. Most likely a "OO" size and a rubber "O" ring around the stem.
Take it the stem to your hardware store and have the give you a repair kit. very cheap
replace both and reinstall.
I it has 2 handles do both sides
Its easy.

Hope this helps Mike

New Danze D308340 faucet leaking under handle. Can't remove the capto get to retainer screw, which needs tightening.

is the capp colored red/blue? if yes, take a picky pointy knife (lmao) and peel it off, pick it off,The leak is probable just the adjustment under the handle, the fawcet originaly came with a tiny spud wrench (made like a 2 pick pitch fork, if you cant find one, i use a pair of channel locks pliers, but first wrap rubber glove or cloth around the top of fawcet so you dont scratch it.How old is this fawcet?

Kitchen price pfister with spray that comes out of arm. Need to take off on/off lever at top to look for cause of leak. How to remove the on/off lever?

If you will look .....first thing would be a good idea to turn water cufoffs under the counter to off position....then remove handle,to do this there should be a set screw (hexagonal screw) on the bottom side of handle lever a heagonal wrench will be needed to remove handle...... Now that you have the handle off you can turn the cold side of the cutoff on or the hot side to find out which one is leaking hot or cold .......if indeed it is a washer ( rubber cup) that is leaking.......hope this helps...

My Blanco Torino faucet is leaking under the button when you press the button on top to use the spray.

Check the hose connections at the spray head nozzle it sounds like it is leaking there and running down the hose and ending up under the sink.

Leaky eurostream kitchen faucet

if its leaking under the handle, all you need to do is remove the blue and red cap on the handle under you will find a 1/8 allen screw, loosen screw and remove handle and tighten the brass nut a little which will seat the packing underneath.

Single handle, about a year old, leaking at the

There will be a set screw on back or under cap on top. Remove handle, next use a phillips screw driver to remove the part that holds on to the cartridge. Then a bonnet that unscrews leaving the cartridge easily repaired or replaced. And there you have it.

Leaking Delta kitchen faucet dual handle

Pry the hot/cold button off the top of the handle. Make sure the water is turned off below the sink.

Under the button should be screws. Remove the screws. Pry the handle off. Remove the stems by lifting then out.

That should give you access to the washers you need to change.

Leaking Kitchen Tap

I am assuming that your kitchen tap is leaking through the spout

if it is single lever you will need to remove the crown and spout by removing a small erasure size cap on the housing right under the spout or up near the back of the ever then use a hex wrench to remove the set screw( plug the drain holes do it does not go down the drain)

turn the water off (hot and cold ) under the sink
remove the set screw and lift off the lever

at his point you can take an adjustible wrench(channel lock and tighten the big ring nut that holds the cartridge in place

temorairly put the handle back on and put the handle in the off position turn the water on under the sink and see if it stopped leaking

if it still leaks you have to turn the water back off and remove the lock nut then the cartridge and go to big box store with old cartridge and name of mfg and get a new one and install

If you have seperate hot and cold valves on top of sink deermne which is leaking by turning one off with oher on undr the sink

once you have determined which it is (hot or cold)
take a phillips head screw driver( remove plastic clear cap on top of faucet handle with sharp crewdriver of knife blade) and remove the screw holdin the handle on to the stem(turn counter clock wise

be sure to turn water of under snk on both faucet risers after removing acrylic handle you then take an adjustible wrench and remove the crown nut turn counter clockwise until it comes off over stem

remove stem( looks like size of a pretzel about six inches long with washers on side and one on end

take the stem to local hardware(ace) or big box store and go to lumbing section ask clerk to inspect and recommend replacement washers or replacement stem (if needed)

go back reinstall and tighten crown nut snug( open (turn counter clockwise) tem valve before you snug it down with crown nut
install acrykic or chrome handle with brass phillips screw then ut cap on and turn on water and check for leaks

good luck
