If you have the time you will have to trace the wires. Using a 12vdc test light, ground one lead to chasis ground. Use other lead to test each wire to see which one has 12volts and mark it with masking tape or write down the color wire. Put it aside and turn on the ignition and find that 12volt and write ignition to that color wire. Now hat you have idenitifed the 12vdc hot and the 12volt ignition. Take a nine volt battery and put one of the remaining wires to one post on the battery, hold it on and go thru the wires until you hear which speaker pops font left or front right, etc. Just scratch the battery post DO NOT HOLD ON. This will identify which speakers are where. Be sure that you identify pairs that cause the pop for what speaker and you should be good to go. If you have any more questions please ask.

SOURCE: my car stereo was stole
That's hard to answer cause it depends on how far back on the wire harness they cut. Plus if you have a Bose system or not. I would highly suggest to take it into a stereo install shop to at least check it out but maybe install the new stereo.
There is a wiring color code that all vehicles use but if the wires have been cut to far back they will be different colors. If you have a factory amp then you will have to rewire for the speakers to bypass it.
I added below the color code. Make sure you disconnect your battery before you start wiring anything.
Please note: You can do major damage to your truck computer and other components if you wire it wrong.
Proceed at your own risk
