Hotpoint Aqaurius WF000 - Flashing Energy save and on/off switch

My machine has started to flash leds with the energy save button and the on/off simultaneously whilst it sounds like the machine is also trying to pump out. I have to unplug it to stop it from doing this and no amount of pressing buttons seems to help (not surprisingly I suppose!) Is there a way to solve this without having it serviced for the second time in 3 months? Thanks!

I have a Hotpoint Aquarius WF 440; When turned on water flows through the soap powder tray but drum does not fill, it then rotates and the on/off switch light flickers and then after going throught the correct sequence of lights the light to the left in a vertical row which starts with "mini load" then "reduce crease" the reduce crease starts to flicker, and apart from the drum rotating the machine does not wash.

Check your pump for any blockages it may not be pumping out fast enough the tomer only gives the pump a certain amount of time to pump all the water out if has got some blockage than clean out and this should sort the problem out always check pockets if this is no help let me know and ill let u know what else it could be m8

Try running a cold wash. if it works its likely to be the heating element because the water isnt getting to temp and just holds its cycle!. It happened to me about 1 year ago i fixed it and now its happening again.

How do I get error codes on my washer

Hi Fred, try this and see if it works: To recall an error code,
• Wake the machine by pressing any button

• Wait 5 seconds

• Press and hold the Start and Pause Cancel buttons simultaneously

• All LEDs will go blank and after a few seconds the control will signal the stored code using audible beeps and blinking LEDs. The control will repeatedly signal the code, as long as the Start and Pause Cancel buttons are pressed. A two-second pause between repeats affords you the ability to make accurate counts to identify the correct error codes.
Once you have your code information, you have the option to reach out to the manufacturer to determine what the issue may be, or feel free to reconnect with me and I will attempt to assist you with the best of my ability. Thanks again for your inquiry!

It tries to start but then the start light keeps flashing

Hello John Schmader - Sounds like the washer could be experiencing a communication error with main control board, faulty door lock assembly, pump or the timer itself is not operating correctly. Is the unit making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose or pump is clogged and needs to be cleaned. Does the washer display an error code? Try pressing and holding the START and PAUSE/CANCEL button simultaneously. All LED's will go blank and after a few seconds the control will signal the stored code using audible beeps and blinking LED's. The control will repeatedly signal the code, as long as the START and PAUSE/CANCEL buttons are pressed. A two second pause between repeats affords you the ability to make accurate counts to identify an error (if one displays).

If i am getting e68 error can just the button be replaced

Welcome to FixYa.

The E68 is indicating a push button is stuck,

To investigate further the console would need to be serviced/torn-down. I'd try the suggested test program first though. To answer your question "can just the button be replaced"...
No unfortunately, The buttons are a part of the entire control behind the console/panel. The test I'm going to post is quite long so I'll post it in two parts.

1. Press and hold Select and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds to reset the control. The buzzer will sound 1 time and "rES" will be shown briefly in the display.

2. Immediately after, rotate cycle selector knob 5 turns counterclockwise to the second position from the bottom. Press and hold the Options and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 2 seconds.

The control will enter test mode, the buzzer will sound 3 times and all LED's will rapidly flash. After entering the test mode, the cycle selector knob can now be rotated to select the following tests:

Rotate the cycle selector knob clockwise from the starting position:

0 turns: All LED's will flash.

1 turn: Drive motor runs; heat source is on. Drying LED is lit. "H" and the control thermistor reading will toggle back and forth in the display.

SEE Below for remaining test program instructions...

Stuck on prewash flashing and rinse hold flashing and C9 i have an AEG86800

Try reset. reset it by Holding the Start Button whilst turning the dial through 360 (from Off-2-Off). If not helps first time. Then try it again. --------- If that does not helps then try this procedure as follows:--- Set selector dial to off. Hold in "pre wash" and "soaking" buttons together. Turn the selector dial anti clockwise from "off" to "short spin". Turn the selector dial clockwise to "energy saving" ---------- But if the unit is not getting reset then there is a problem in the motor brushes. The brushes are worn out and that needs to be replaced. You can get required parts from

Philips 20PF4121 LCD tv no picture but flashing error codes

I had exactly the same problem When the TV was switched on all I could see was a flashing green light. After cheching the TV internals and not seeing a problem including the power supply unit which looked and checked normal. Here is what I did to get M TV working again.
Disconnect it from the power supply. Hold down all the buttons simultaneously i.e. the on/off, the volume, the programme, menu buttons, all of them simultaneously and Plug it into the power supply again.
Lo and behold My TV jumped back into life after an absence of about 4 weeks.
Try it yourself exactly as above.

Best of luck.

LOC code flashing on washing machine

Pressing the options and select buttons simultaneously for 5-10 seconds worked. For me it happened this way: on the first attempt, with the indicator lights already "timed-out" and off, pressing and holding the options and select buttons simultaneously for 5-10 seconds caused the lights to come back on and flash the "LOC" code again. But holding the options and select buttons together for 5-10 seconds a second time caused the indicator lights to stop flashing, and allowed me to start the cycle.
