Question about Janome Memory Craft 10000

Clunking noise only in embroidery mode 11000

My machine has started making a clunking noise when in the embroidery mode only. Sounds like it's coming from the bobbin area. I've cleaned all the lint/'d the bobbin area and can't detect a problem. Help please.

    My machine makes a terrible crunching sound. I've had it in the dealer so many times I've quit counting. The last time two weeks ago they had to replace the sensor board and the bobbin case. Now, it's making the crunching sound even in normal sewing. The other issue I have is that the needle threader won't go back up after being threaded. If you're in the middle of a design you have to turn off the machine to get to go back up and then it doesn't go back to the same place on the design. I have ruined more than I've completed. So sorry I bought this machine.

Unfortunately this isnt a solution just a suggestion, write a clear list of problems experienced, Also list all the attempts at repairs, embed scanned copies of reciepts for the repairs, give the name and location of the dealer/s used, Scan examples of work showing stitching problems and include them, don't use inflammatory language as that will weaken your case, just state matter of factly all the problems encountered, all the steps taken to try and resolve the issues.Write clearly what you would like done to resolve your machine problem, i,e, a proper diagnostic report and repairs or replacement of the machine.Save a copy to your computer, Print 4 hard copies, send one to the dealer explaining the steps you are taking to resolve your issue with the machine. Send one to the Janome headquarters in your country, addresses can be found on the web or at Janome Global, Send one to Janome Japan customer services, put the fourth on file. Give them 10 days to acknowledge reciept, then start making polite enquiries regarding your mail of , and insert the date sent.
If you are in America investigate if your state has the Lemon Laws, also investigate consumer protection rules. If you are in England use the consumer protection rules and advisory body. If you are in the EU there is legislation that covers goods that fail to meet the advertised perormance levels of the item.
I know this isnt a solution, but as long as you show you have taken steps to remedy the issue, you have case for obtaining a replacement that works.

first ck that your needle isn't hitting the bobbin !! that's the #1 thing that happens to make funny noises !! use a flashlight and view needle turned by hand as it slips into center of bobbin !! then also ck that darning lever isn't part ways engaged that will do it too !!

Husqvarna Viking - Thread gets caught up on the underside of material when trying to sew.

There are two things that come to mind that may be causing the problem.
1) Change the needle, for it could be bent even thought it may not look it. (This is the most likely cause).
2) Have a look just inside and check if any screws have come loose. This has happened to me. (Even the repair man did not find it.

Your machine is complaining because it doesn't have the power to push through the layers of fabric. That clunking noise is the gears in the machine skipping and being sheered off (or it will be eventually) STOP!

If you feel that you need to continue... stop when it does this noise and use the HAND WHEEL. You'll also need to make sure that the presser foot remains level while going over thick seams.

some sewing machines have more sounds than others, check to make sure the bobbin is setting securely in the bobbin case,and if that doesn't
solve the noise problem then ,it would be a good idea to have the machine serviced

Loud clunking noise when sewing. . . then it starts to stutter then it stops & gives me an error. It doesn't occur when reverse sewing though

try these suggestions
change the needle
rethread the machine top & bobbin
make sure to use every thread guide
make sure the bobbin is not damaged or warped
make sure the bobbin is not over full
make sure the bobbin is inserted correctly into the bobbin case
make sure the bobbin case fits securely into the machine unless it's
a drop in bobbin
if these suggestions don't help then the machine may need to be
checked at a repair shop

have you checked to see if the bobbin is in the bobbin case correctly
is it still under warrenty? you might want to take back to the place you bought it from & let them check it
