Question about D-Link 802.11g Wireless Router WBR-1310 (WBR1310)

Dlink WBR 1310 error 109 internal error

This error 109 internal error comes up when the router is being configured it says 'please click retry if this error occurs agin exit quick router setup, shutdown and restart computer & re-insert disc,' However when i go through the set up again, the same error 109 comes up. What can i do to set up my wireless?

    The same thing happens... I've done everything shown by the manual but then when I connect it, it says,'Error 109:Internal Error' then after I've clicked 'Retry' or shutdown the computer and repeated all the same procedures,it shows the error again...

Remove the CD setup. Try calling your Dlink Manufacturer to help you install the WBR-1310 manaully.

If the default password on the D-Link has been changed then-
To reset the D-Link back to the default settings -
Press and hold the RESET button at the back of the router with the power ONuntil the LEDs flash at the time the release the RESET button. Have dlink router 1310 when switched over to jumpstart no longer usable

There are multiple versions of both of your routers, you can click on your version and try there tech info from there. If you have no luck, just post the right versions here and I'll see what I can do for you.

My WBR-1310 doesn't do wireless to my laptop.

theres a couple of version of this router I'm using the manual from here
on a working PC download and install this program this will detect all the wireless signals being broadcast - see if the router is actually broadcasting - if it is detected on your PC then it may be that 1) the firewall is blocking access or 2) the security code is entered wrong - -log into the router and remove the wireless security and see if you can now detect

Error 103

Press in and hold the reset button on the back of the router. Connect directly with a patch cable and configure your wireless settings by typing in address bar. Download the manual here:

I got a old WBR-1310 router.. I am trying to hook it up to my comcast modem.. however, I don't have the original set up disc. I downloaded the Quick Set up from the D Link site..but it is telling me that...

You maybe able to configure the router manually, the configuration URL for Dlink routers is usually but i don't know if this will work with your router. The default login = admin and the default PW = is blank.

You can use any UTP cables. Here is how the connection would look like:

DLINK PORT 1(or any other ports) <---> COMPUTER

If the router is set to give out IP addresses automatically(DHCP), you should be able to connect flawlessly.

Go the router setup page,, type admin as the user name and password as the password (default, if you have changed these use your login info).
Then on the wireless page change the SSID (router name).
You can also add a security key on this page.

I forgot the username of dlink wbr-1310 wireless router

Hi there,

As an initial info try to do a hard reset on the unit, this process will restore the system into a original settings. you can find the reset switch on either on the left of right sight of your router.


you may visit this SITE to recover again your current password without erasing or removing the current settings made.

Reset Password.
