Try a different power cord and plug it into a extension cord separate from the outlet you put your welder in. otherwise contact bosch thru website

No power. Will not turn on

Not intended to offend;
1. If using A/C (house electrical power), please check if electrical wall outlet is active. Attempt to plug-in another electrical device such as a lamp, clock, radio, etc.. If the electrical wall outlet has top and bottom plugs, try the top and then the bottom plug to see which one works. Sometimes, the top outlet will not work, yet the bottom outlet does work. The wall outlet should be replaced by qualified technician.
2. If both outlets do NOT work, and the outlet is GFCI breaker protected, maybe pressing the RESET switch on the outlet will power-up the outlet.
3. If the outlet is NOT GFCI breaker protected, check your electrical fuse box for a tripped fuse. Sometimes, a tripped fuse is NOT visible. May have to trip the specific fuse or all fuses to off, then back on. Recheck the wall outlet.
4. Once your know the outlet is live, check the power cord (a/c adapter for laptops) to make sure they are securely plugged-in to both the wall outlet AND the PC or Laptop.

Will need more information once the above steps are taken:

Is it a Desktop or Laptop?
Make and Model (if known)?
Any lights (glowing) on the desktop or laptop?
Any lights on the A/C adapter if its a laptop?

Stopped running, plugged in and not plugged in.

Several things to consider are: 1. Charger or cord may be defective. 2. Electrical outlet may be off (breaker or GFCI popped). Plug a lamp in to test. 3. Batteries may be unable to maintain charge, Usually this is a gradual issue. 4. If shaver was dropped a wire may be broken inside.

Whirlpool refrigerator trips gfci outlet

Yes ,, if the fridge outlet is behind the fridge and therefore not accessible for use by counter top appliances .. then yes change it to a regular outlet.
The cause is probably the compressor, getting a bit noisy..electrical noise I mean.

I have a Bosch Power Box PB10-CD, the GFI outlets clicks on/off

Disconnected the GFCI outlets, and everything works just fine. Ridiculous that Bosch manufactures GFCI outlets that does not last for 2 years. The cheepest American made GFCI outlets last practically for ever. Beeing "Bosch", the replacement outlets cost $38 plus shipping.
It is ridiculous.

When I plug my freezer to an outlet not gfi protected it works fine, but when I plug it into an outlet that is gfi protected it pops the breaker. I dont understand why.

All fridge and freezers should be plugged into an NON-GFCI protected outlet, since the inital start of the compressor can cause the GFCI to detect a millivolt surge, when the compressor starts, causing the GFCI to trip.

If this is in a kitchen, you should change out the outlet to a non-GFCI outlet BUT only to a single outlet that only has the freezer plugged into.

If it's in a basement, garage, or some other place with a GFCI outlet, you can change out that one outlet to a standard single outlet device of which ONLY the freezer will be plugged into and remain code compliant. You will need to make sure that any other outlets served by that current GFCI outlet stay protected, by installing the GFCI you swap out, and put it in place of the NEXT outlet in the circuit.

By doing that, you will have the first outlet that was the GFCI, now a single outlet NON-GFCI serving the freezer, but the next outlet in the branch circuit gets a GFCI outlet, thus protecting the rest of the circuit, in compliance with the NEC (National Electric Code)

If you need further help with this, please comment back and I'll check back later and provide you more detailed info. Of course, be sure to turn off the breaker to this circuit before making any changes to the outlets, etc.

Hope you find this Very Helpful and best regards!

When radio is plugged in only the gfi outlets work not the radio.

Mines similar, outlets work but radio will only work on battery. Radio will not work on mains only. Charger works at same time so ok. SORTED IT TONIGHT. Inside the charger inside the box there is a fuse (240v 2A) I think, tiny radio fuse. Changed that tonight and radio now works on mains only or battery. Very awkwark job but better than watching a load of cr** on tv. Hope this helps someone.

Hi, I recently had problems with my gfci outlets. I have 4 outlets connected to a gfci circuit and I cant get the other outlets to work if nothing is plugged to that one outlet at the end. The gfci outlet...

that is truly a strange problem, has there been any rewiring going on? almost seems that it wired in a series instead of a paralell circuit and the end one completes the circuit when something is plugged in. i am not sure how to tell to fix this other than to go thru the whole circuit.

at the gfci the line side, or the hot wires supplying it should be hooked up to the line side of the gfci. the wires feeding the rest of ur outlets should be connected to the load side of the gfci.

then at each outlet the hot wires both line and load should be hooked up to the brass or gold looking screws and the neutrals should be hooked up to the silver screws. this way u should have power on all the outlets.

I would check the cord or the plug before anything else. Plug another appliance into the outlet if it works try bending the male plugs on the cord slightly and try again. If this doesnt work call the man.
