Question about GE Monogram ZGU48N4GHSS / ZGU48L4GHSS Stainless Steel Gas Cooktop
GE monogram ZGU385, continuous sparking on all burners even when all knobs in off position, but one knob has light on. When any knob is turned on, sparking stops. What's the problem and how to fix it?.

had same problem. Used fine sandpaper on the little head (just above the white ceramic) that creates the spark. over the years the edges of the littel metal ring had gummed up but a 1 min sanding got it down to shinny metal and it sparked nicely.

We just had that problem - the igniter is electric - if none of the burners are "clicking" it could be a power problem. unplug the stove and check whether the outlet is working. In our case, the outlet the stove is plugged into has a "GFI outlet with a reset button. So we reset the outlet and that fixed the problem.
