If your running the beta firmware that sony released on accident you need to upgrade to the newest firmware that should fix your problem hopefully

You can try this program in your psp
its kind of like the music player but better
fist download it and put the folder on the game folder on your psp then go to games in the xmb menu and try it out the link to downlad it is this:

One solution could be that your PsP has been left on or used up to much. Buying a new battery for your PsP would More than likely Fix That Problem

I have the same problem , i analyzed my psp , and found out
that it has 1021 bad blocs, it has to be somehow fixed ,
but i dont know how yet. someone who can unbrick psp maybe can this.
