I would advise getting a pair of new hands, if that is not a possibility, you may try getting a wrist strap or neck lanyard to help keep a hold of your phone. Good Luck.

My battery on my nokia lumia 520 is not lasting very long and is gettinghot what cold be the problem

There may be some applications running in the background (where you can't see them) or features turned on that can drain your battery more quickly.
Pressing and holding down the Return (or left arrow) on the bottom of your Start screen will allow your Windows Phone to display smaller images of all the application programs running at the same time on your phone. Each of these images has an 'X' in the upper right corner. Tapping the 'X' will close that application. If you close all the applications, you will be returned to the Start screen.
Tap on the Settings tile (it may appear as a small gear) to view all the configuration options. If you don't have the Settings tile on your home screen, swipe in from the right side of your home screen to see an alphabetic list of all the applications installed on your phone. Scroll down to the 'Settings' entry, then hold your finger on that item until you see the white menu appear beneath your finger. Select "pin to start" to add that tile to your Start screen. If 'pin to start' is not enabled, it means the Settings tile is already on your Start screen somewhere.
Once you open the Settings application, you should look for features that are set 'ON' that you have no need for. For example, if you have no Bluetooth devices, you should turn off Bluetooth. If you don't care to have applications use your location when you use them, turn off 'Location'. Note that if you want to use your phone as a GPS when you drive, you will need to turn on Location, but after you arrive at your destination, you can turn location off again to conserve your battery.
Look at your 'display' and 'glance screen' settings. You may want to set your display to go to sleep more quickly. Set your 'brightness' to automatic. Your display is one of the major battery-draining pieces of your phone, so turning off your display more quickly (and manually turning it off by pressing the power button when you're through) will extend your battery life.

Dropped my LG CF360 cell phone on the tile floor. phone operates fine but screen is now blank. it appeared to be fine immediately after dropping it but now the screen is blank? any ideas?

yes. this is a common fault with any phone that falls on the tile floor, especially if it lands using the screen(even if it doesnt, the screen might still be affected). the only solution is to send it to a repairer because it would require the attention of an expert due to the crack or damage done to the main display screen which in most cases would have to be replaced with a brand new one

Won't turn on, may need SIM card help

The phone you have does not have any sim card. I am not sure if your phone provider will allow you just buy another CDMA phone and just transfer your number to it. I know alot of phone providers in US allow this though. About your phone there might be a loose component thats why when you play around with it, it worked then shuts down again. i suggest buy a new one CDMA phones are cheaper than GSM phones though.
