SOURCE: How do you get a Jenn air oven out of the wall???

The JennAir website should have the installation manual for download. Go there, type on your model number, and it should come up.

Sometimes these ovens just get "stuck" in place, and take some easy levering to break free, or to help you find other fasteners.

SOURCE: My oven Door fell off. it is a Jenn-Air JJW9530C

This is a known issue. The model number is JJW9530C. I have been browsing the internet trying to find stronger hinges but with no luck. It seems there are a lot of unhappy Jenn air owners. You are correct in your assumption that the door is to heavy for the hinges. I will post the websites for your review

http://www.ovensworld.com/jenn-air-jjw9530c-expressions-collection-electric-single-oven.html

Maybe if I could see the hinge I could fabricate a stronger stainless steel one for you

SOURCE: Jenn-air JJW9630CAS - double wall oven -door won't close, even after hinges replaced

On my double oven the bottom door was not closing by at least 21/2 inches the upper door would allow the light to stay on . Upon close examination this problem appeared to be the door was too low which did not allow the gasket to seat in the oven cavity, holding the door open. new hinges and receptors did not resolve this condition. This is how I corrected this condition. 1 open the doors one at a time and lock the hinges.2 remove the doors from the receptors (be careful they are heavy) and set aside. 3 remove mounting screws holding oven in cabinet. 4 slide oven forward enough to hold onto receptor sockets on left and right sides lower and upper 5 remove receptor sockets by removing the screws in front of oven(be careful to hold on to the receptor so it doesnt fall behind oven into cabinet)7 with a center punch punch a start point 1/8 inch above the existing screw holes and drill appropriate size hole for screw THE HOLES MUST MATCH UPPER AND LOWER RECEPTOR OR THE SCREWS ON THE LOWER DOOR WILL SCRATCH THE UPPER DOOR .8 attach receptors to oven in new holes 9 slide oven back into cabinet and replace screws removed in step three 10 attach doors into receptors and push locks forward into receptor cavity attach lower door first and check for operation then upper door open slowly and check enough clearance exists for the screws on the lower door miss the upper door . If more clearance is needed elongate the holes drilled earlier(repeat steps 1 through 5) and slide receptor up on upper door. NOTE The receptors are not in a sealed space in the oven cavity and are not exposed to any heat. Periodically check the screws for tightness. After performing this procedure Both doors close all the way and the light is no longer a problem Now 20 minutes cook time MEANS 20 MINUTES COOK TIME.
HOPE THIS RESOLVES YOUR PROBLEM !!!!!

SOURCE: My jenn-air self-cleaning electronic wall oven

One of the 2 hot wires is out. Flip (hard) the oven circuit breaker to the off position, and then back on. If it did not help - verify 220-240v between the two hot wires on the terminal block behind the electronic control. If there is less - call electrician.

What replacement parts should I order to keep my Kenmore oven door from just dropping down when it is opened?

If the hinge is not broken "Check the Springs".
They sometimes come off at one end or can be broken.
There are 2 one on each hinge. They are strong so be VERY careful.
As I remember they have a color code according to how strong that are according to the weight of the oven door.
The surest way is to get the MODEL NUMBER from the tag on your oven. The parts store will be able to look up the proper replacement.
I may be able to tell you more with a model number for Identification, the oven is likely a Whirlpool Product made for Kenmore. Let me know if you are in New York City area.
Hope this helps.

Broken screw on oven door means we cannot change the hinges

Without seeing how or where the screw is located the Idea below may work. I assume, what is left of the screw head is flush with the hinge. See if you can get a drill bit on top of the screw. If so start with a drill bit smaller than the outermost edge of the screw head. Drill slowly until the head of the screw is gone. You can always start small and work your way up to a larger bit. Do not drill into the hinge. Now that the head of the screw is off, you should be able to lift the hinge off. You will now have the shaft of the screw sticking up. I would spray the saft with a penetrating fluid or wd-40. Let it sit in. Then take a pair of locking vice grips and lock on the remanding part of the screw. Now you should be able to turn it to the left like a normal screw.
If you somehow brake the screw off flush with the frame then youll need to use an easy out.

Oven door does not close tightly causing oven lites to go on

Sounds like the oven door is not closing enough for the light to go off. When that happens you have bad hinges. You need a left and right hinge replacement kit. Some hinges are easier than others to change, however, any handy person should be able to complete the job in about an hour with simple hand tools.
Please rate me a "4 thumbs" if this was helpful information. Best of luck!

Hinge snapped on Nardi EK95583AC Range cooker

I have the same problem and am about to replace both hinges and hinge runners (http://shop.ukwhitegoods.co.uk) recommend you should replace both hinges as if one is gone the other will follow soon. The section on the hinge gives a good account on how to replace the hinges safely and how to get to the runners that may need getting into the inside of the oven by removing the sides. I havent gone through this yet so cannot honestly give any more advice other than whats out on the web.

If you follow this link please:

The parts you need are listed there for you. Part numbers 031118009907R and 031199009903R

What I need to know to change the hinges on a Turbochef Tornado

Hello. Yes I was going to say, it should be hardest to take the covers off, than anything to replace the hinges. Easier to replace the right one if you take a few items out of the way, and move/disconnect some wiring. Just unplug is the biggest thing, should be ok after that. Guess you figured it out by yourself though. Congratulations :)
