Question about Gateway GT5220 PC Desktop
The Gateway support sight provided me with a sound driver download to upgrade compatbility with the windowsxp software i installed. The download came through but the "install software" dialog box will not appear so i can complete the installation.I talked with Gateway support tech and he was puzzled as to why it wouldn't work. Is there another download and/or "fix" so i can get the sound to start working again. My Gateway came with the legacy sound driver system.
Try to open your device manager and see if u have any ? marks (yellow) right click and restart it should work
